Guest guest
I had a bad case of Pancreatitis caused from a stone from the gall bladder getting into the duct work and the pancreas started eating on itself. When the doctor took out my gall bladder he let me know I would probably be type I diabetic (not produce enough insulin -- medically caused). For years I did everything the books said to try to controll gall bladder pain. I did cleanses etc. I would take olive oil and vinegar etc. I just wish now I had said something to a doctor, long before it got to the stage of losing working pancreas and being diabetic. The gall bladder can cause problems if a stone (like me!) gets down the duct work and stops the pancreas from being able to empty all of the " good stuff " it gives us, digestion wise and blood sugar wise. My pancreas when it was eating on itself because of the pancreatitis, ruined some of the pancreas itself -- so I don't have what I need to live on. Just wanted to make sure that everyone understood that sometimes trying to treat something at home (like I did) can come back and bite you in the tail!!!! thea --------- Forwarded message ---------- " Renee " <gaiacita Tue, 20 Nov 2007 19:39:09 -0600 (Central Standard Time) Re: Fw: Gall Stones Message-ID: <47438C3D.0000C0.05708@gaiacita-pc> References: <20071120.165322.2524.0.nobltn528 Um, my father had his gallbladder out as a very young man. But as an older adult he became diabetic. I have never heard of the two things being connected before. Where did you hear this? Personally I'd rather keep all the parts I have. They each do something major in the body. It's perfectly fine to clean the liver/gallbladder and have both continue to work correctly rather than take the gallbladder out and have the liver have to do double duty. Our livers are already much stressed today, what with all the toxins we live with. This is why it's important to do some cleanses before you need " them, or at the very least, as soon as an organ starts giving you trouble. It's always a bad idea to let a problem go on and on before trying to fix it. Samala, Renee ---- Don't take a chance with gall stones. If you are having problems see the doctor. You are better off to get the gall bladder out -- than getting pancreatiitis and being diabetic the rest of your life.
Guest guest
Thelma, You are absolutely, unequivically correct! The gall bladder flush I described was used as a last resort. I don't have health insurance and when advised I had to have the gall bladder removed I took matters into my own hands. There was no way to pay for an operation. Nowadays there are so many in the same position! If you can pay or have benefits by all means do what your doctor says. They are supposed to be the professionals. Take care! , thelma m noble <nobltn528 wrote: > Just wanted to make sure that everyone understood that sometimes trying > to treat something at home (like I did) can come back and bite you in the > tail!!!! > > thea > >
