I have been doing Chelation orally but still ended up with a big blood clot in

my leg so it may work for some but did not work for me. I have no choice now

but to take meds and do some injections because if it travels it could kill me.

I probably had it for two weeks or more but luckily it settled so the risk is

almost nil but a scary thing to go through.

Dear Rhoda, Jean, Bernard and tempo33x;

Thanks so much for your suggestions. Nattokinase totally new to me,

and had no idea of Vit K for this issue. Re chelation, haven't found

that available in my part of Brasil, but know the effectiveness from

US days.

No, but I will look into it. Another member suggested Nattokinase.

Once off the prescription meds I will try alternatives. I am just

not willing to take a chance by not taking the meds at this time. I

am also being tested for a genetic predisposition to this. I am a

Vegan vegetarian, get lots of exercise, etc. But we are all not

created equal and genetics can have a profound effect. But I am

doing well and still very active which I believe it attributable to a

healthy life style. Time will tell regarding permanent damage to the

vein as blood clots can damage the valves which will effect blood

flow for life.
