Port wind stain

Dear everybody,

 

My 4 months daughter has port wind stain (PWS) on her right side of body. We

have consulted several doctors, they all said it won't fade away by itself.

And we are now considering the method of PDT. Since it can only be used on

child of more than 3 years old, we still have 2 and more years to wait.

 

And during this peiod, I am wondering whether there are something other than

medical cure can control or lighten the stain?

 

I would be really appreciated for your kind suggestion.

My son had a port wine stain, it faded eventually. It was not REAL dark to

begin with, but it did fade. It might depend upon the severity of it.

My son had the same on his side. He is now 35 and you wouldn't

even notice it. It faded all by itself, and has caused no problems.
