Guest guest
Has anyone had an issue with this before? I have been getting a rash on my forehead/hairline off and on since June. The rash will clear up with Nizoral shampoo and when it is almost gone it seems to settle in my eye by making one area puffy. The rash is itchy. I believe it might be a fungus because it clears up with the Nizoral. I have also had a few yeast infections and urinary tract infections over the past year...more than ever before. I recently moved to Florida from Texas so I have been in a more humid environmment. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks so much, Amy Marie
Guest guest
I'm in Texas, too. I discovered a couple of years ago that I had systemic candida overgrowth. I started researching it and was very soon overwhelmed and afraid. The bottom line is that you have to radically change the way you eat. You can take all kinds of expensive supplements, but if you don't get on the right kind of diet and stay on it, the candida will keep coming back. There is so much conflicting information out there, but this is what it all came down to for me. In the beginning, I really panicked. I have always really loved food, but was fortunate to not have a weight issue, so I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. But it caught up to me. My digestion suffered greatly & my whole body itched - it was like my bones itched & I couldn't reach them to relieve the itch. I was told to cut out all sugars, and that freaked me out. EVERYTHING has sugar in it, right? Long story short: I gradually cut out processed sugar, and I feel whole again. I eat some honey, some maple syrup, some agave syrup, but only occasionally. It's recommended to do it all at once, but I had to do it gradually. For one thing, I'm breastfeeding, and detoxing too quickly can be bad for the baby. For another thing, it was just to darn hard to do it all at once. It's been a couple of years now, and now my diet consists pretty much of fresh veggies, some fruits, whole grains & legumes. I chose to stop eating meat, but that may not be necessary for you. If I were you, I'd lay off dairy, wheat, and as many sugars as remotely possible. I sweeten my coffee with Stevia. Everything tastes sweeter to me naturally now. I taste much more of everything I eat. I rarely ever crave sugars anymore, and when I do eat them, they don't taste nearly as good as they used to, and are so not satisfying. Now I crave all the things my body really needed all along: mostly farm-fresh veggies, especially green ones, but the more colorful, the better. Get as many probiotics in your system as possible. I've been known to take 16 acidophillus capsules a day (8 in the am, 8 in the pm, on an empty stomach) when it was bad, and as a maintenance routine, I still take half that every day. I eat fermented foods & drink kombucha (not for everyone, but I love it & it works for me). I can eat wheat again, but I limit it. I usually choose sourdough rye or, even better, Ezekial bread. It really helps to do some internal cleansing, too. I'd start with a colon cleanse, then liver. It'll make everything else you do more effective. I never would have linked the two together, but sufficient chewing really helps your body digest better. Better digestion leads to better immunity, better flora, better health. Since I've been eating this way, I eat about a third of what I used to, and feel much more satisfied, because my body's getting the nutrients it needs from the foods I'm eating, unlike before, when I (105 lbs) could eat more than my 190-lb dh without even thinking about it. Now I sleep better but have more energy. My adrenal glands seem to be working better, my internal organs don't feel so overtaxed, and I look and feel much, much better. My moods are better, emotions more balanced. When you have candida overgrowth, you often have a parasite, too. I have muscle testing done to determine my body's immediate needs & can always tell when there's a parasite issue, take some herbs, watch the diet, & I'm better again in no time. Drinking pure Aloe juice can help eliminate parasites, too. Be well. , " amymarietrail " <amymarietrail wrote: > > Has anyone had an issue with this before? > > I have been getting a rash on my forehead/hairline off and on since > June. Guest guest
Hi Amy, For your problem, you take homeo medicine Cina - 200c 3 drops daily in the morning for 7 days and Rhus Tox-200c daily in the evening at 5 p.m.. Remember, don't take any sour while the medicine is on. Cut short your meat intake and other food staff which contain toxins.
