Guest guest
Doctors know that treatment with pegylated interferon and ribavirin is not ideal and it has side effects that sometimes lead to stop the treatment. Moreover it fails to clearance the virus in someone , especially with genotype 1. But in the last Meeting of the AASLD were introduced 16 new treatments for hepatitis C. Most of them are in the research phase. However, provides a great hope for the future for those patients who do not tolerate the current therapy o are not responded . This post in the blog : http://clinicaltrialsweb.blogspot.com summarizes the new treatments. May be can not be understood it ,the papers already were written for doctors not for patient , but is useful to give new information about everything that is being investigated in relation to hepatitis C.
