My wife was on allergy medication for years and she never purchased allergy medication for the last two years. She uses Mangosteen juice only sometimes. My co-workers wife was on nexxium for stomach acidity...and now she is also out of medication because of mangosteen juice... It may be worth a try....... So i started selling the juice now..... Guest guest
I have not tried any, and don't wish to since it has preservatives in it. All the testing you have read about it was done on the mangosteen fruit - NOT the processed fruit juice drink with added preservatives. Better to go with the " whole food " and eat the fruit. I think the juice is very expensive, especially since it has apple, pear and grape juices which are very cheap juices. Benzoates contribute to ADHD, so for sure don't give this processed juice drink to kids!! Guest guest
Serap, If you buy mangosteen juice which has been imported the chances are pretty good that it has been pastuerized. This process destroys most of the vitamin C and many other beneficial properties of the fruit. They usually add citric acid to try to replace the vitamin C but it changes the taste. So if you want the juice with the vitamins intact the best way is to buy mangosteen pericarp powder and mix your own juice. If you could find canned mangosteen pulp in the local Asian store you could get the benefits without mixing anything. Don't be shocked by the price though. If you went to the market in Asia during harvest time you would find Mangosteen is the most popular and the most expensive fruit in the market. Xanthones are the primary beneficial ingredient in mangosteen pericarp, (pericarp is the rind of the fruit). According to folklore the xanthones are useful for anti-diarrheal, anti-microbial, anti- inflammatory, pain relief, skin rashes, and stomach and digestive problems. The mangosteen pericarp has a somewhat bitter taste so it is best mixed with other fruit juice such as cherry, or rasberry. It is also very potent and you would only need a few tablespoons a day. You could always hold your nose so the taste buds don't notice! Good Luck! p.s. Don't listen to the MLM lies about the benefits. They'll tell you it does everything including curing cancer! , SMetin wrote: > > Hi everyone, does anybody have experience with Mangosteen juice, what is the > best company to purchase it. Guest guest
My husband and I tried Xango's which is mangosteen and felt after a year it's a gimmick. We even tried selling it. No one I know out side of my chicropractor who signed us up to sell it claimed it helped them at all. In fact we have friends and family tell us they were 'sorry' but after trying it they could see no difference and just couldn't spent $35/bottle. Don't forget these companies like Xango are a business and if you sign up to sell their product, they give you CDs with testimony from Doctors and etc. And you're right they do 'imply' it's good for almost every illness but they know excatly just how far they can go in making those claims without getting into trouble. If you think about it, unless you're making it from the fruit it's self and consuming it in a short period of time, the stuff you buy has been over processed, had additives added and has sat on the shelf for who knows how long and anything that might have been of value has degraded. It's like buying bottle juice, is there really anything of value left in that bottle? , SMetin wrote: > > Hi everyone, does anybody have experience with Mangosteen juice, what is the > best company to purchase it. Guest guest
I have never tried Xango and have no desire to, but I must say that I know SOME people here who claim it makes them feel really good. And no, they are not doing it as a business. It is like so many other things: some products do the trick for some people. Dr. Jon Barron explains this really well in his book " Lessons from the Miracle Doctors. " It is a free download at his website: http://jonbarron.org A primer on the principles of natural health, Highly recommended.
