Guest guest
I am at a loss as what I can do, my mom had periodontal disease & I have recently found out that I too may have it. I with my last check up they tried to link it to my jewlery(toung ring)but then had a hard time when one of my upper teeth was showing recession. The only thing I have been told to help with this was flossing & I have been for years. Any advice would be much helpful because I have no desire to lose any of my teeth! ever so much thanks

Guest guest
I would recommend either Ian Shillington's " tooth and gum " tincture, or Sangre de Drago or both in combination. I have a huge and growing file of testimonials on Sangre de Drago. They are about evenly divided among first aid/wound healing miracles, stomach and intestinal problems, and dental health. For anyone wanting to make their own T & G tincture, oak galls may be hard to come by. " Drago " just might make a good substitute. And of course, get lots of vitamin C, in whole food form. Guest guest
I have read where brushing with Xylitol crystals will not only kill any infections, but the person that posted about doing this said that their gum line returned to normal. Guest guest
Try getting the new Sonicare toothbrush. http://www.sonicare.com/brushes/flexcare/c_flex_t1.asp I've been using a Sonicare for about two years and it's amazing how much cleaner it keeps my teeth. My dental hygenist highly recommends it and says her patients that use it need very little cleaning compared to those that don't. , " Cathy " <cathyscott77 wrote: > > I am at a loss as what I can do, my mom had periodontal disease & I > have recently found out that I too may have it. Guest guest
-This can be a serious problem. In the long run, problems with the gums can indicate a future problem with the heart. Are you on any medication? Some medications such as beta blockers can have an adverse affect on gums as well. I would futher suggest that the use of the Ruach healing Method be employed. Gum probems indicate an adverse saturn energy within your shpere of sensation. Re-alignment through a Ruach Healing attunement could be very effective. In any event, you can counter the excessive saturn energy with some moderate time in a low UV sun bed. Guest guest
My dentist told me to stop using gel and whitening tooth pastes and to use only the white or creamy types as they are too harsh on the gums and teeth. Guest guest
Has anyone mentioned using Xylitol? Here's a link with good info on Xylitol for oral health: http://www.xylitolcanada.com/media.htm Also, receding gums are common in post menopausal women due to a loss of estrogen ~ which is likely why heart disease is associated. Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com gums can indicate a future problem with the heart.
