Guest guest
Peter from Africa ask if he could use coarse salt and this is my reply to him: I would not use anything but Sea Salt, you can get it in Natural Food Stores. If you cannot get it in Africa, then have someone from the states send you some. Or order it online. There is no reason why any of us cannot get what we need in this day and age. Again DeSousa is one of the most mineral rich and full of good things for the body. As long as it's high grade it will work, just has to be sea salt. Coarse salt has heavy metal. Most people don't realize this nor do they eat enough to present a problem. I have not researched this out thoroughly but I would imagine that you would want to stick to the Sea Salt if you want it to work. Sea Salt is full of good stuff, the purer the more profound the results. Good luck, Micki (original post) I found a wonderful way to unclog the lymph system. Just buy a good quality sea salt. I use DeSousa (lots of good minerals). You must use natural top quality sea salt for full benefits. You mix 1-1/2 Tbsp into 1 liter of distilled water. Shake it well and refrigerate. I actually do a gallon at a time and use (6 Tbsps per gallon). It's very salty tasting but once chilled is palatable. You can use up to 8 Tbsps per gallon. You drink about 1/4-1/2 cup at a time. The first 24 hours you do this quite frequently. It will pull toxins out of you that will blow your mind. The detoxing can actually make some people feel quite ill but I found it wonderful. I have tons of energy now. I keep a solution in my frig and use it frequently to cleanse any bugs I might be exposed to and keep my system detoxed and clean. The first 24 hours are the most important. After that you can decrease to morning and evening but I have found this to be such a good tonic I use it 3 times a day. I never get sick anymore. Guest guest
Hi Joe, I'm assuming that our Trader Joes here sells the same salts. I originally bought the grinder topped one, but threw that salt out because it's so white I figure its been bleached or something. I bought the larger coarse gray salt from France to fill the grinder. I just spotted the black and red Hawaiian salts on my last visit and am intrigued (except the colors are so uniform I wonder if it's totally naturally occurring?). My two cents on salt, Raine Joe Anshien wrote: I just went to Trader Joes and they had 5 kinds of Sea Salt. A fine crystal in a tall blue container from Sapin, course from France, course with grinder top from Spain, and a Black and red from Hawaii. I purchased the one from Sapin. Would that be correct? Guest guest
All sea salt might come the sea, but what's the water quality in that " sea " ? More important, what happens to the salt before it goes to the marketplace? Did you know that Hain, an " all natural " sea salt comes from the San Francisco Bay and has the same caking agents in it as Morton's? Most salts undergo harsh bleaching and refining too and contain huge amounts of sodium chloride. Salts extracted from ancient sea beds, deep within the earth are untouched by the pollution of our oceans and bays. They not only taste a lot better, they contain many important trace minerals. People notice health improvements just from switching healthy, unrefined salt. Himalayan Salt is probably the most popular these days. I also like Real Salt (much less expensive) which is mined from an ancient sea bed in Utah.
