Guest guest
Are those synthetic fragrances she uses (cucumber melon is, I believe)? Synthetic fragrances are not even tested for any health effects. They are in almost everything we use, just so it will " smell nice " , and nobody knows what kind of piled-up health effects they might be having. Some people have pretty serious problems from them and don't even know; when they stop using the synthetically-scented item, the problem goes away. If a soap (or anything else) is scented with " fragrance oil " , that fragrance is synthetic. If it's scented with " essential oil " , it is a natural scent. I don't understand why so many people make soap they call " all natural " , when it's scented with synthetic fragrance oils. Just another thing people might not be aware of. Guest guest
Hi, Joy! I think people are trusting that when the label says natural, that it is. Over the last few years I've become very interested in what's in the stuff I put on my body. We should all read and research and not be quite so trusting........and it's up to us who know to keep talking so that more people can be safe from propylene glycol and sodium laurel sulfate and other toxic things. Thanks for bringing this up. Not all essential oils are " natural " either. Many of them available at the drug store are cut with " unnatural " chemicals. Knowing your vendor is a good thing, too.
