Hi! I recommend that you try the supplement " St. John's Wort " , any good quality brand, at a dose of 300 mg 3 X's per day. Consult your doctor first, don't use it if you are presently on any prescription anti- depressants, or if you have high blood pressure. Also, a good quality pure Omega 3 Fish Oil 3 X's per day would be beneficial. I find that it helps me to take a look at the 'big picture'of life. If I'm having problems, or just feeling sad and melancholy, I try to remember that there are lots of people around who are in much worse situations than me. I realize that things can always be a lot worse than they are and I try to be thankful for all the positive things in my life. If at all possible in your area, take a walk in the woods or on the beach. Walk among the trees and breathe deep the healing scent of nature. If there are no plants in your home, go and get some. Try to arrange to catch the beauty of a morning sunrise, even if it's through a window, or an evening sunset. Life is beautiful, try to think positively, wear bright cheerful colors. Remember that in acceptance is peace. If there are things that make you angry or frustrated that you have no control over, accept them rather than battle them over and over in your mind. I wish you the best, and I really hope your outlook is brighter soon. I don't know if you like dogs or if your situation allows you to get a pet, but if you're an animal lover like I am, pets can uplift your spirit.
