Guest guest
Dear moderator, group, and Chris Tinney. After a summer of being away from group activities I was excited to go on individual e-mail again. Looking forward to meeting old friends and sharing, learning, and connecting. Yes, occasionally a connection becomes a sale, and I will not deny that I am in business. However, the first three mails in my inbox were announcements for Chris Tinney's conference calls. I resent this profoundly. We have had heated discussions about the role of independent distributors of networked products on this forum. Some of the most knowledgeable posters, like Jenny Kernan for instance, are also offering services and/or products. There will always be purists for whom the slightest whiff of commerce is too much. But many others enjoy knowing what it is out there, and some of the best most innovative products are marketed through word of mouth. For instance, I shared the miracle of Zeolite with a friend who suffers from chemical poisoning. It is one of the things that are helping her. I only found out about it through Sharon Hoehner on this forum. Yup, Sharon sells it. So? There is a fine line between sharing information and advertising. Some of us, like Jenny, Sharon and myself, try hard to walk that line and to be genuinely informative on a wide range of health topics. Blatant announcements for MLM cconference calls have no place on this forum. If they do, we'd get swamped. Gee, I have some myself but I'll refrain. Chris, you were a member of TGN. Our main mandate was to make people think better of this noble and misunderstood industry. I am totally disappointed in you. Andrew: these announcements get in not through the normal posting but from the calendar on the website. Could you do something about it?
