Guest guest
Hello group, In one of her posts Rhoda mentions " the muscle test " , " the tilt test " and " asking your body " to know if certain foods agree with your body. I haven't heard of anything like this before. Could anyone, please, tell me more about this? You are welcome to write me off list, if you prefer. Thanks, Lucia --- Rhoda Reporter <rhodes10 wrote: > the best is the muscle test.ever asked your body?? > i love the tilt test. > place any food that you wish to eat in the area of your thymus, hold it against your > chest. > if you tilt forward, it means the body says YES to it. > tilt backward, and body says NO ... > experiment with a glass of microwaved water.............. > see for yourself......... Guest guest
Hi Lucia, You would want to ground yourself first. I teach a variation of the Tilt to clients. Stand with your legs a little apart so you can balance. Place your hands over your heart chakra. Close your eyes and go within. Ask yourself yes, wait to see which way you are pulled. No will be the opposite direction. When testing supplements on your self you would do the same, asking is this formula right for me. Wait to see which way you go. If no..look for another one. I like this one better than the arm or fingers. Guest guest
Hello Jenny, Thanks for the explanation. I shall try it. Please excuse my ignorance. Is this technique related to the Quantum Touch? I see that you are a Quantum Biofeedback Therapist. I am not familiar with this technique, but I know a little of the energy work as I am a Reiki practitioner. My warm regards, Lucia --- Jenny Kernan <rainysnana wrote: > Hi Lucia, > > You would want to ground yourself first. I teach a > variation of the Tilt to clients. Guest guest
Hi all, Muscle testing is also known as " Applied kinesiology " and was developed by a Chiropractor in 1964. In essence, kinesiology is " listening " to and trusting the wisdom of your body. As a Hypnotherapist, I also believe that it's tapping into the subconscious mind. What hasn't been mentioned thus far is that you MUST be well hydrated to get an accurate response, and you should be facing north. Be sure to make YES or NO statements, rather than asking general questions. The subconsious mind doesn't understand generalities or words like " shouldn't " , " don't " , " not " , etc. so be specific with your languaging. There are many ways to utilize kinesiology, by yourself or with the assistance of another. The tilting is easy and hands free, but I personally find other approaches more effective and accurate. Each person will find what works best for him/her. Guest guest
Hi all, Another approach is to actually hold the supplement/herb/food at the solar plexus (midway between the navel and sternum) and focus on it. The solar plexus is associated with the liver and spleen and is the center (chakra) for a vague or non-specific sense of knowing. Again... be hydrated and face north for accuracy. Yes is forward (toward what you're holding), no is backward or away from it. Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com > You would want to ground yourself first. Guest guest
Hi Lucia, Biofeedback is energy work. Using feedback from the body, we can see where stressors are causing issues in the body and then feedback to the body what it needs to help it balance and obtain wellness. Often times this includes diet changes, lifestyle changes and attitude changes My mother Dr. Schwartz teaches Theta healing and is the one that taught me how to do the muscle testing. To learn more about Quantum Biofeedback you can go to my website www.quantumassociatesofutah.com Thanks for asking Jenny Kernan Quantum Biofeedback Therapist --- Lucia <lucia_n36 wrote: > Hello Jenny, > Thanks for the explanation.
