Cat not using box, was:cat is marking the house

Recommended Posts

Not consistently using the same litter, scented litter

or even the pellets can cause issues with cats and

using the litter box. Also some cats are territorial

and will not use a box that another cat, even one from

its own household, has used. It is recommended 1

litter box per 2 cats. I had one years ago that would

not use the box if it didn't have fresh litter in it.

He would poop in front of the box. Keeping the litter

cleaned out was the only way he would use the box.
