Guest guest
So i have acne and was wondering what are some alternative solutions to Rx medications. Ive tried almost EVERYTHING over the counter with little or NO RESULTS! Since changing my lifestyle to an all natural one (eating organic, purified water, no chemicals, etc) my acne has improved... (now id say its moderate instead of severe) I just started using tea tree oil and taking zinc and magnesium. Ive also done colon cleanses and i use steam to clean my pores. is there anything else i could do? any advise would be appreciated, im kinda desperate! THANKS! Guest guest
This will probably sound stupid but, If I force my teenagers to wash their face with soap in the morning and night every day, Their faces are clear. When they choose not to it comes right back. I know, it's wicked basic, But, it's what works here. Good Luck Jess_,_._,___

Guest guest
Just as an FYI and I know you didn't mean to say this fixes everything. But I have horrible acne now even as an adult and had it even worse as a child. I washed my face sometimes 3 and 4 times. It is something that is very hard in the teen years, wreakes havoc with your self esteem. If all I had to do was wash my face I would cry in joy. I think some people are just born more prone to chronic acne. Who thought I would still be fighting it at 35. Guest guest
Hello Damien, I'm so new to this group, I'm almost afraid to post. I was drawn to your request for help with Acne because it has recently become a problem for me. I stumbled across an old book of mine called Edgar Cayce Encyclopedia of Healing. I read his recommendations and tried the citric and vegetable juices he recommends and that helped a lot. He believed that Acne was a symptom of a chemical imbalance in the body. I was then doing a meditation and was given the name of an herb called Burdock Root. So of course I did my research. I found that when I returned to the Edgar Cayce's book, he had recommended it also but I had not tried it. Burdock Root seems to have a cleansing effect on the blood. He recommended some other herbs too. The Burdock Root is working for me, but please do your own research and see the other recommendations he had given people in his readings in this book. Maybe something will resonate with you as well. I was personally ready to try anything because this acne was on my nose of all places. It is clearing up now Thankfully. Good luck to you in your quest. Guest guest
Berberis Aquifolium mother tincture topically, or a homeo cream containing same thing, works best. Doesn't leave scar even. Taking same drops internally also helps from within. =============================== Judith Ker wrote: > My friend's daughter had great results with Young Living's lavender oil. > Also, have you cleansed your liver? > > Jude > >
Guest guest
Hi Jess, I am sorry to state that Acne does not vanish by washing face by soap four to five times a day. Whatever the skin eruptions - these are manifested. There is no skin disease as such. Skin disease is nothing but manifestation of inner problem. Try to rectify the inner problem instead of treating the skin locally. Main thing to be kept in mind, stool movement, generation of toxin, sleep, digestion and disciplined life to be taken into account before landing up to any decision in selection of medicine. Application of medicinal tube, even steroid helps for a day only but can never root out the problem. Consider this. Dr Subrata Das : jessichka.p: Mon, 22 Oct 2007 08:52:52 -0400Re: Acne! Guest guest
.... or maybe it's not really acne. When I moved to near a chemical plant in my early 20's, I suddenly developed what must have looked like acne, but they wouldn't " squeeze " . Just empty zit-looking red bumps on my face. All my exposed skin was red like I had a sunburn, too, for as long as I lived there. Guest guest
I had acne as a teenager and remember the horror all too well. Isn't it great that Burdock showed up in a meditation! Burdock is a well-known liver cleanser. Susun Weed's " Healing Wise " has a chapter on it. It is a great book on ordinary weeds/foods/herbs. Cleansing the liver and colon is the first thing to go for in any skin disease. But sometimes it isn't enough. Stress and hormonal imbalances can also play a role. All the suggestions are good ones, and may I suggest Emotional Freedom Technique as extra support? You'll hear me say that a lot. EFT is FREE, and no government will ever be able to outlaw it. Imagine a world where every child would learn this in Kindergarten. Acne makes you feel awful and insecure. My acne always got better in summer. Partly because of sunlight and fresh air, but also because the stress of going to school and dealing with peers was gone. EFT can help with that. Don't just tap on the zits, tap on the feelings that happen when you get them. Tap on hating to see your face in the mirror, on feeling embarrassed in public, and so on. The group files contain a PowerPoint presentation that is the easiest thing to learn from. This link goes straight to the free starter package. The E-book explains everything. http://www.emofree.com/a/?875/1 Ien in the Kootenays, who'd rather be 60 than 16 anytime! http://freegreenliving.com
Guest guest
Hi, Homeopathy has Berberis Aquifolium as best remedy. You can use mother tincture externally & internally. You can also use Berberis Aqui cream of Homeopathy. Heals Acne without leaving scar. MM =================== Sharon wrote: > Hello Damien, > > I'm so new to this group, I'm almost afraid to post. Guest guest
Louise L Hay in her book " You Can Heal Yourself " say's that acne's probably cause is Not accepting the self. Dislike of the self. New thought pattern: I am Divine expression of life. I love and accept myself where I am right now. Also look at hormone imbalance, parasites and systemic fungus.
