Guest guest
At work I watched first one and then another of my teammates get sick. At the first sign or feeling of something slighty warm going down my throat I would take approximate 5 garlic tablets. -- within a half hour the heat down my throat would be gone and I would not get sick. The only problem someone could have doing this is that garlic makes your blood thinner!! So, if you already are taking something to thin your blood, you probably should not use the garlic. My mother also told about her brother back in the early 1900's who would get congested and all they did was take a large onion - cook it in water until they could start him drinking the water as he was a little child. Sometimes when he couldn't breath he would take a slice of that onion and eat it raw - it always cleared up the congestion. My husband and I are retired, we eat a slice of raw onion with our sandwich at lunch, and at supper I fix a mixed salad with onion and fresh garlic cloves. Mum good!! Stay well y'all. thea noble
