A member asked us to give our thoughts on prevention ....here are

some of the answers and a few more thoughts and ideas.

Can everyone share their prevention methods for the flu whether it

be homeopathic, flu shot, herbs, or any other things? I think it

would be good for everyone to know what their options are as we creep

upon the season.

---Edgar Cayce said that keeping the body in an alkaline state would

prevent many diseases ....the bob beck protocols is also recommended

to deal with viruses

A great antiviral preparation is a mixture of about a 1/4 teaspoon

each of turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger (powdered) mixed with raw

honey. Take a small spoonful of this several times a day when ill. Or

take it once a day as a prevention. These herbs contain dozens of

antiviral compounds and work well on viruses.

Also teas are wonderful, enjoyed warm with a touch of raw honey, for

the cold/flu season.

Blend dried herbs of echinacea, astragalus, chamomile, rosehips,

ginger and peppermint. These herbs fight infection and are packed

with vitamins and minerals.

Bee propolis is resinous. Chew it like gum for 30 minutes, then

swallow when you first feel symptoms of sore throat, flu or cold

coming on. It attacks bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, etc.

A healthy diet high in dark greens is a good source of vitamin c

(before you get ill).

I just made a vegetable broth soup, and I added whole garlic cloves,

onion, shitake mushroom, fresh garden tomatoes and garden peppers,

carrot, cabbage, chopped swiss chard, collard greens, and fresh

basil, oregano, and parsley.

Hot baths taken {up to your neck for 30 minutes} are excellent with

sea salts, epsom salt, and antiviral essential oils such as tea tree,

lavender, cinnamon, clove, etc.

The flu shot is ineffective and very dangerous. It contains

thimerasol (mercury) and it most certainly can cause problems later

in life. Not everyone get arthritis either; it's very much related

to diet

Why do Drugmakers Still Defend the Use of Mercury in Their Vaccines?

Homeopathic Flu Nosode can be quite helpful.

http://www.homeopathic.org/crhistnosodes.htm

You can find it in Health Food Stores or online.

What is a homeopathic Nosode?

The Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia Convention of the United States defines

a nosode as " homeopathic attenuations of: pathological organs or

tissues; causative agents such as bacteria, fungi, ova, parasites,

virus particles, and yeast; disease products; excretions or

secretions. Nosodes are prepared according to homeopathic

specifications, provided the basic substance is not altered and the

final product is not adulterated by pathogens or other deleterious

substances. The first attenuation must be rendered sterile " .

Homeopathic nosodes are thought to stimulate the body to recognize a

disease-causing entity, provide a level of protection, and assist in

the elimination of the pathogens naturally. Nosodes may provide a

template to the immune system and the cell walls, thus making an

indirect attack on diseases by stimulating the immune system and

white blood cell production.

I would like to hear from others regarding the prevention methods

they use against the flu.

in loving kindness,

Linda
