Guest guest
My family and I have been taking it for several years. I thought it was a good thing to do and indeed neither of us caught a flu all these years. But since the one we took last November we all, including my 21 years old son, developed arthritis. And now I know this is one of the side effects of the shot. And of course I decided against it from now on. The suffering and very dangerous medication I took for the arthritis are too much a price for the remote probability of cathing a flu. So, my opinion is CON. Guest guest
Yes, Don't! Save your time and money and don't bother. All the people I know who have been silly enough to be conned into having a flu shot have all been sicker as a result of it. Keep yourself fit and get plenty of exercise ( walk a lot) and you won't need a flu shot. Plus some Colloidal silver on hand works wonders as well!! I have never had a flu shot and have no intentions of having one. huggs Lyndall ---- Jean 16/10/2007 3:34:21 AM Flu Shots Any opinions on flu shots, pro or con? Guest guest
I don't know about that, I think it depends on what you're exposed to on a daily basis. I work in a drug & alcohol rehab, and the patients I'm in contact with have somewhat compromised immune systems . . . before last year, I was sick several times throughout the course of the winter, and last year I got the flu shot and didn't get sick even once, so yes, I got it again this year. Many people think you don't need it, and maybe it's mind over matter, but it can't hurt! Patty -- In , " Tazidevil " <devil.tas wrote: > > Yes, Don't! > > Save your time and money and don't bother. Guest guest
Con, even my 92 year old grandma (rest her soul) wouldn't let them give it to her in the nursing home. She told them she was allergic to eggs to avoid it. She told me she saw too many people get sick from the shot. I have two aunts(from different families,on different coasts) that had the flu shot three years apart and both came down with horrible symptoms afterwards. Both were so ill they ended up in bed for three weeks. By the way, I believe they still make the shots with mercury. Jean <fjd2002 wrote: Any opinions on flu shots, pro or con? Guest guest
I used to get the flu every winter until I started getting the flu shot. I havent had the flu in 30 years now. I have never heard of the flu shot causing arthritis. I thought everyone gets that with old age. Even my cats have it and they didn't get the flu shot. Guest guest
If you consider 21 as being old age... you have to think again. And if you haven't heard of the flu shot causing arthritis you should read some more. You sure lack infomration on the subject. And I don't like being laughed at, ok? --- Joey Doey <twosteprav wrote: > I used to get the flu every winter until I started > getting the flu shot. I havent had the flu in 30 years > now. Guest guest
Where is the evidence to suggest that the shots are made from mercury??????? see below. --- Alison Bliss <naturalhealthmom wrote: > Con, even my 92 year old grandma (rest her soul) > wouldn't let them give it to her in the nursing > home. It increases your chances of alzheimers with every shot and it's compromising your immune system, not strenghtening it. I'm quite surprised to see people endorsing the flu shot of all things in a group like this! Connie
Guest guest
Flu shots contain a preservative(thimerosol) which contains a lot of mercury. Guest guest
THERE IS EVIDENCE EVERYWHERE! " During the manufacturing process, antibiotics (neomycin, polymyxin B and gentamicin) are added to eliminate stray bacteria found in the mixture. The final solution can contain the following additives in any combination: Triton X-100 (a detergent); polysorbate 80 (a potential carcinogen); gelatin; formaldehyde; and residual egg proteins. In addition, many of the influenza vaccines still contain thimerosal as a preservative. Thimerosal (mercury) is being investigated for its link to brain injury and autoimmune disease. Guest guest
Actually I said that I believe that they are still made WITH mercury(also known as thimerisol) it is a preservative used in vaccines. It has been strongly linked to Autism and Asbergers syndrome. You can go to www.909shot.com to find the ingredients.
