dead thyroid

Hi folks!

I have hypothyroidism. My thyroid is not just slow. It really is dead.

The synhetic drugs have not done much for me. I am wondering if

accupunture would be the right approach to get my thyroid going again?

Any opinions?

Thank you!

Synthetic thyroid meds actually kill the thyroid.

I have not heard of being able to bring a dead organ

back to life. However I have heard of other organs in

the body steppping up to the plate and taking over the

functions of the dead, diseased or removed organs.

I have also seen improvment when clients switch to

natural thyroid meds and stop the synthetics.

How can you tell it is dead? I have heard of this, but no details,

really. I'm just curious.

Thanks

Acupuncture could help jump-start it, as well as Armour, which I am on and it

seems to work very well. Also, my naturopath has me on iodine drops, one drop

in a glass of water a day, and 2 drops of selenium in the same glass of water as

well, to help the thyroid utilize the Armour. I definitely think the

acupuncture could help...my naturo did acupuncture on me for my liver to help

metabolize the Armour better....when I first started it I couldn't tolerate the

full 60 mg dose, not even half a dose even. I had to do a quarter of a tablet

plus the drops to help...now I am up to the full dosage. I hope this helps.

I have all the symptoms and I have been tested for it. So after the

doctor read the results he looked up and said well basically your

thyroid is dead. So in a nutshell, that's how I know.

The drugs for an inactive or slow Thyroid have to be started out at low doses

and slowly raised till the correct pp blood volume is reached. Is your doctor

doing this or did he/she just prescribe a dosage and forgot about the protocol?
