Guest guest
Hello there, we are hoping someone can help us with sleep. My husband is at the end of withdrawal from Morphine, and it has left him antsy, agitated, tired, and restless unable to sleep? Any suggestions? He is applying YLEOils Valerian, Vetiver, and Lavender on the brain stem, but it has made some difference but not as much as we were hoping for. He wants to stay with natural help now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you Jude

The capsules contain Valerian, Skullcap, Passion Flower, Dandelion, Chamomile, Marshmallow and Hawthorn. On nights when I'm particularly stressed, I add a few drop of liquid sublingual Melatonin by Source Naturals, this addition always seems to do the trick. One thing about Melatonin is that it works better when you lie in the dark with the lights out. Also too much may cause a headache the next morning, I used to take 3 mgs, but now I don't take any more than 1 or 1.5 mgs. Good luck, hope this helps. Guest guest
g'day jude: i once had ALOT of problems with those symptoms aslo. catnip infusion to settle the nerves, deal with stress and calm the aggression passionflower infusion EVERY evening at the same time to aide with sleep there are a few other herbs as well we use regularly. skullcap will calm the mind, good if he is compulsively worrying or working. helps me do nothing after working 60hrs with no end in sight. i have more but these 3 have been the core of my rest and relaxation staple for 3 years now. i have herbal stimulant options too that you can incoporate into his daily life to aide with general mental clarity and energy. kola suma with cocoa for instance makes a suitable coffee replacement without the dependancy of coffee. yerba mate is a good tea replacement and a nice soft stimulant. mail me if you want details on how to use them or what other alternatives there are. much is available on the web. hamish -- -------------------------------- The Keeper of the Big Blue Cable of Connectivity TKBBCC - DNRC I:274300250 Y:hamish_dy M:hamish WL:hamish-dy
Guest guest
Hello, Jude! Congratulations to your husband for his great recovery. I'm glad you know about Young Living. They have a blend called Peace & Calming which I would not be without. Try that. I apply it to my chest and neck before bed each night and I sleep very well. This can be reapplied as needed without worry of toxicity. Also, you may want to put this in a diffuser and put the diffuser on a timer. Set it to diffuse 15 minutes every hour. I was having alot of trouble at my last job. There was more stress than I thought I could handle, but I diffused Peace & Calming in my office on the fifteen minute per hour schedule and I was much calmer. Good luck! Guest guest
A good glass of milk helps me to sleep. Occasionally, I will take an over the counter muscle relaxer along with it, does the trick 99% of the time. Fast asleep in no time.
