It could be carpal tunnel caused by the metacarpal

being inflammed. Acupuncture, Accupressure, massage

therapy, biofeedback for deep muscle relaxation and

pain management,a spinal adjustment by a Chiroprator

or Osteopathic Dr...including cranial work, flex ball,

ice, and keeping the wrist flat not bending it will

all help. Wrist splints have been found to cause scar

tissue and actually does more damage than good.

Chiropractor might help. My wrists have been a little painful (nothing

major), and when I finally went to the chiropractor (for my back), she

popped my wrists, and they feel much better.

Hi Fawzia,

Sorry to hear about your hand. Hope its gotten better since the email.

I would like to suggest you do yoga. One of the warm up sequences has a

specific very simple wrist based exercise. If you, I can suggest it via

email.

Cheers,

RoK

B vitamins work/help with carpal tunnel. I have also heard that chiropractic can

often help with wrist pain. I used chiropractic for years. Nothing like touch to

heal the body. Massage is also wonderful. You may have a strain there, is it

swollen? Sometimes just rest it a few days, and that might help as well.

It sounds just like carpal tunnel to me. I have pregnancy induced carpal

tunnel, and boy does it ever bother me! I can't even open a water bottle

anymore. Luckily, pregancy induced carpal tunnel is supposed to go away after I

have my baby.

I went to the doctor about it, and the doctor suggested a few things to help

it get better. First, she suggested I buy some wrist braces from the store and

sleep in them. When we sleep, we tend to curl our hands and wrists up, so thats

an important time to keep them strait. She also suggested a couple of

stretches. First, stick your arm out with your palm flat to the floor. Pull up

on your finger tips with your other hand so that your whole palm lifts up and

hold it for a few seconds. Don't pull it to the point of pain, just where you

feel a stretch. Second, stick your arms out in front of you so that your palms

are facing each other. Make fists with your palms and put your thumbs inside

the fists. Then tilt your fists down towards the floor, bending from your

wrist. Again, don't do this to the point of pain, just enough to feel a

stretch. She also suggested physical therapy, but I decided to skip that since

my carpal tunnel is a temporary condition. You might

want to look into it though. It also helps if you type a lot for your job to

lower your key board so its flat. For pain relief, I ice my hands. It helps a

little.

You know whats really crazy? I have the same pain in my toes! Pregnancy does

crazy things to you. Who ever heard of carpal tunnel in the toes?

i agree with jessika, it sounds like carpal tunnel

early stage have an EMC-NCV done..

I was able to completely get rid of my by taking Hydrangea and Timed

Release B6 (mine was from Source Naturals). You will be able to tell

a different in a week or less. The hydrangea is a catalyst for

getting the B6 where it is needed. All kinds of things started

feeling better for me..

You can get arthritic pain in your wrist, try a natural anti-

inflammatory like comfrey massage oil which is known to help

swellings...or some devils claw gel.
