Guest guest
When my Mom was terminally ill with colon cancer, I treated her bedsores with honey. The Hospice workers thought I was " strange " but because we were at home, they couldn't interfere. The honey made her bedsores itch, but it was working, closing up the sores. Sadly, she died before they fully healed. I visited an apiary on Long Island yesterday, and bought a 4 lb. block of pure beeswax to make natural skin creams with my 16 year old daughter. I had skin cancer on my legs in 2004. The apiary proprietor gave me some rare and prized bee propolis to taste. He cannot sell it. It was resin-like and stuck to my teeth, but the tickle and sore throat I have had for 3 weeks went away. I had ordered Manuka honey at $25.00 for 8 oz. a few years ago (from tea tree flowers) but I honestly believe that any pure honey has healing properties. The honey collapses the walls of bacteria and the pathogens die according to Ray Lackey at the Sweet Pines Apiary in Bohemia, NY He has a cabinet on his front porch and you help yourself to a jar of honey and put the money in a metal box attached to the front wall of the house. (honor) system. It's a sweet place, indeed. I'm buzzing with delight over my trip to visit Ray and his lovely family at the apiary, yesterday. I learned that the Pharaohs embalmed their dead with beeswax. Imagine what it will do for this 57 year old face. :-) in loving kindness, Linda ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
