Guest guest
Hello folks, As I am new here, I should step in and ask away... ... I was Diagnosed with Neurological Sarcoidosis, and was treated with both Prednisone, and Cyclosporine. My treatment was stopped in 1999 as the sarcoid had gone into remission (Knock on wood). The Prednisone has left me with Osteoporosis, and the Cyclosporine has left me with 'slight kdney damage' - although my nephrologist has indicated my renal function has remained stable since 1999. I do not like the idea of relying on 'potions', my history of all my prescription drugs left me feeling like a walking pharmacy. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for relying on (which) foods for optimal health on a day-to-day schedule. Any thoughts are appreciated.... Guest guest
Hi Mike, Getting natural includes using homeopathics which are also natural. The actual potions are the pharmacutecals and prescriptions as they not natural. Homeopathics have been around since the beginning of time. The energy in homeopathics trigger the body's natural healing process. Pharmaceuticals do not. One of the ways I help clients get healthy and stay healthy is through Biofeedback. This is a wonder alternative for stress management, pain management, balancing and deep muscle relaxation. Through feedback the body startes to balance and heal itself. I have seen wonderful things happen with this modality. www.quantumassociatesofutah.com The other way I help them is through education. I teach that using the 40-30-30 plan and the 70-30 balance will make a definite improvment in their health and well being. The 40-30-30 is simply this: 4-% of calories come from Low Glycemic Index carbs, 30% from lean protiens such as chicken, fish, beans, vegetables etc and 30% come from good fats such as olive oil, sesame oil or coconut oils for example. You have to have fat to burn bad fats from the body. http://www.amazon.com/40-30-Phenomenon/dp/0879838493 Now taking it a step further this is very essential in stress reduction etc 70% of your foods should be 70%Alkaline and 30% Acidic. http://www.rense.com/1.mpicons/acidalka.htm Drinking pure water everyday, eliminating artificial and processed sugars/sweetners, subsituting stevia or natural fructose(also known as levulose) for those sweeteners, taking 1TBS of coconut oil a day, mediation or deep breathing exercizes for 30 minutes per day and exercize 30 minutes per day. All of these things will help to bring the body back into balance and heal itself. As for supplements almost every client I have worked on is deficient in Essential Fatty Acids, Amino Acids, Minerals and Enzymes. You cannot absorb nutrition if you are missing any of the above, Fatty Acids being the first link in the chain. Osteoperosis can be controlled with the proper Calcium-Magnesium supplement.
