Guest guest
Jenny is right, We can not take our childrens birthday from then... that is going too far, and is worse than any abortion or cloning arguement. I was " Past due " with my son one month, my midwife protected my son's birthday and never gave into my delirious demands- My son was born on the summer solstice, the most magic day of the year..Once I learned to accept and trust in birth and my body- everything fell into place... I have worked with kids that are angry for the rest of their lives because they were induced- it creates life long trauma... These children come through us- as Khalil Ghibran has said, Aurore www.beyondnaturalmedicine.com
Guest guest
Should for some reason you'd like to hurry up the arrival of your little one there are other safer things that can help coax them out if not too early. I tend to agree that much like anything we are " baking " to hurry up the job needlessly runs the risk of interferance with nature and to throw of the natural well order. Unless it is a lifethreatening situation is really is not recommended. The birth of the child sets the whole tone of life for him...and the last person I'd tend to want to listen to is a male doctor that wants to perform status quo medicine for his convenience. One has to be careful of deliveries big time as there are many needless births that are permanantly affected by hurried doctors or those that just don't care. I am not a proponent or forceps nor " head " deliveries., nor am I a proponment for inducing. Sadly many people can " have " kids but it takes the exceptional to " care " for the kids and take all of the incovenient paths and choices necessary to have a child grown up unscathed by our modern world. Our food sources and medical worlds are in my opinion the two worst threats to our vulnerable childrens lives. They are in your hands. May your little one enjoy a quiet peaceful, unglaring delivery with nothing but safety and love to hold him. regards, medusa
