Guest guest
I own some property near a river in Florida that has terrible mosquito problems after lots of rain. I bought a small machine to put in the house (Nosquito) that was unobtrusive and relatively quiet. I believe I paid about $40 at a local department store. It had a special light that attracted the bugs, and a fan that draw them into a basket. The light bulb dehydrated the bugs and the fan was quiet. It was not anything like a " bug zapper " that some people use outside. It was small, about the size of a large clock radio, and set on a counter. My only complaint was that it killed the occasional beneficial insect, but since it was inside, this was rare. The mosquitoes were so thick that dozens followed me in every time I opened the door to come inside. Most larger insects, like larger moths, could escape the suction. There was no burning smell or anything unpleasant. I emptied the basket every day or so, depending on the bug population, and one bulb lasted six months. Replacements were $5 - $10. I recommend it as a chemical free option. I just found it on a search -- even cheaper: $34.99 Here is the link: http://www.airdelights.com/MA06.html?id=fLdQQ9uj Mary
