HPV Vaccine

Hello, recently I have heard murmurs of our state considering

requirements of pre-adolescent girls to receive the HPV vaccine similar

to MMR boosters and chicken pox. Does anyone have enough knowledge to

comment on the wisdom of this decision healthwise? Also, is the

vaccine at all effective for thirty-somethings like myself who are far

from being virgins? I had an abnormal PAP over a year ago, but the

follow-ups have been normal, thank God.
