HPV and alternative treatments

First, thanks to everyone for their input on the vaccine for HPV. I

have been reading a lot of literature on this since June 2006 when

Gardasil was approved by the FDA for Human Papillomavirus (types 6,

11, 16, 18). It is estimated that 70% of cervical cancers are caused

by HPV 16 and 18 which can also lead to vulvar and vaginal cancers.

It is estimated that HPV 6 and 11 cause 90% of cases of genital warts

and are also responsible for abnormalities on Pap tests and low-grade

cervical abnormalities.

I began to further my understanding by learning about alternative

methods vs allopathic methods for treatment of genital warts if they

are already present in our cells <for life>.

In my research, I was amazed at how many people stated the topical

drug treatements created even more warts. I remember a shamanistic

homeopathic healer once saying that a viral outbreak needs to surface

out of the body and that it is better " out " than " in " .

I am so inexperienced with this topic and want to be very informed

for the school year, because I know I will be questioned since the

commercials have come out with little girls singing " I want to be one

less " because they got vaccinated with Gardasil. :-(

So here are my questions to any experts out there:

1. If you are infected with gential warts, should you always have it

biopsied and tested to determine if it is one of the four strains of

HPV that are claimed to cause cervical, vulval, or anal cancer? I

read that if a wart returns after being treated/removed, only then

should you have it biopsied for cancer.

2. Tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, garlic, banana

peels, coconut oil are some natural methods of ridding the skin

surface of the viral outbreak. Are these superior methods to the

prescribed topical treatment such as lotions, creams, interfuron

injections, freezing, or surgically removing warts off the genital

area?

Students may ask me these questions and I need to be armed with as

much information as possible when we have discussion groups on risk

behaviors, protection, and abstinence to guarantee full protection

from serious STD's.

It is interesting that doctors use white vinegar to help them

visually see tiny genital warts, but do they realize that by using

vinegar (5% solution) that it also helps rid the skin of infection?

I wonder.

in loving kindness,

Linda

I had this problem and cured it with Vitamin A. 25,000 I.U. taken once a day for

six months plus 10,000 I.U. applied twice a day for three days. On the third day

the warts were completely gone and have never come back. deborah

Dear Deborah,

Vitamin A? That is amazing. Could a fat soluble, oil based chemistry in

vitamin A have blocked oxygen from the viral cells and suffocated them? They

say that once you have a virus, it never goes away...there is no cure. In your

opinion, do you think that you cured yourself, or arrested the viral load

from re-surfacing? How many years has it been? I heard viruses hide in cells

and can go dormant for more than 10 or 20 years until the immune system

breaks down and finds opportunity to rear its ugly head, again. In your case, I

hope not.

thank you for this information. I am going to compile all information

received, look into it some more, and keep this information as reference

material

for classroom discussions, should they come up.

in loving kindness,

Linda
