Guest guest
Try reading the book, IS THIS YOUR CHILD by Dr. Doris Rapp, a Pediatric Allergist who uses alternative remedies for allergies, ADHD, ADD. I was able to cure my son of severe allergies and asthma as well as ADHD after reading her book and applying her recommendations. She also tells you how you can test for allergies yourself at home. Good for adults, too. My son is now 21 and big and healthy. Check out her other books, also. One is pretty recent. I buy them from used book sellers on Amazon.com for very cheap. I like to send them to friends who are searching for the same answers I was back then. deborah
Guest guest
Mary Allergies are from " all of the above " foods, chemicals and toxins, airborne stuff, natural and man made, molds and dust and mites, cats and dogs and other pets, birds and parrots, shrimp and lobster, vegetables and fruits, and on and on. We mostly live in a toxic environment. earl " " " " " " Posted by: " Mary Alford " mary.alford mary.alford Fri Aug 17, 2007 6:41 am (PST) Do you know if the allergies are environmentally related or food related? Also, are they to things that are outside (like pollens) or inside the house (like dust or mold)? Overall, I find eating local honey good for my allergies (even though I am allergic to some things inside the house as well as pollens). It is important that the honey be local and raw. I have not gone through a desensitizing process, however. Mary " " " " " " "
Guest guest
I am asthmatic and I am from the Philippines which is a tropical country. Manila is too humid. I developed this problem at age 23. However, when I worked in Sudan, Africa, which is super dry, my asthma disappeared but whenever I go home in Manila, it resurfaces. My last assignment was in Aghanistan which is also a dry country. As ecpected, my asthma disappeared again. Now, I am back in Manila and I am taking medicines for my asthma. I think you should check where you are allergic. earl engelhardt <imspirit wrote: Mary Allergies are from " all of the above " foods, chemicals and toxins, airborne stuff, natural and man made, molds and dust and mites, cats and dogs and other pets, birds and parrots, shrimp and lobster, vegetables and fruits, and on and on. Guest guest
Yes, I am aware of all of these things. But our natural defenses, when healthy, allow us to be exposed to most of these things without great effect. The most common allergies that people complain of (at least in my world) are from these two categories, because I am lucky enough to live in a climate that produces lot of outdoor allergens such as pollen and indoor allergens such as mold. If you live in a climate/environment where outdoor allergens are an issue, then honey will help. There is much evidence to support this. Guest guest
Sometimes allergies exist because of emotional issues or because the liver needs cleansing. To help cleanse negative emotions you can use things like Bach Flower Remedies and Essential Oils and to cleanse the liver you can do the Master Cleanse.
