In India Hot Rock salt Stone is also used for trating pains in joints and other parts Another best technique Hot water Dipping /washing of Feet which is still practised in Villages of India is to dip your feet in hot water daily in the evening for 10-15 minutes which relaxes not the body but also the mind and removes any tiredness due to day's work . I think the alternate techniques needs to built in on'e daily life along with Yoga/ pranayam-the breathing techniques S.S.
