Guest guest
hi- YOU DIDN'T SAY YOUR AGE AND THAT CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE--I have been through what you are about to undertake--my suggestion is-to realise that life is about change and growing-you will grow from your experience and efforts. It is not easy changeing from what you are familiar with but you will soon get the nac and race ahead---study is another matter . I was a single mum trying to balance child rearing, part time work and study, even when i wasn't working, i felt like i was burning out-the lessons i learnt were--make a time table- 1. get organized-go thru your home, clean . organize, thow out useless items or pack up things you will have no time for.store them in a safe place in good boxes 2. make a list of priorities and necessities. If you have a relationship, set times for that, if you play sport set your time for that, exercise is important -make some time for relaxation but set your evening or time for it. Explain to friends and family that you have an agenda and would love to spend time with them but your only times for such things are such and such-only be flexible when it is of some importance -such as a wedding or someone visiting from out of town- -if you don't -you will not get your assignments done and you will stress out-i know -i had days i thought i would explode as i tried to fit in too much and kids were allways comming up with something unplanned which chewed into my study time.Stick to your study schedule at home. 3 find some one compatible at shool to study with-it doesn't mean you rely on them but sometimes having one or two others as back up can help sort out things or enlighten you about something you missed especially if you miss a class. 4 Organize an area for study-preferably a desk in your room . where you have privacy and quiet, that way -you are less likely to be distracted by others nonense. 5.allways do assignments early- if you leave it till the last moment expect some mishap to befall you-i spent a whole night till dawn typing an assignment ,not being skilled on the computer- right at the end i some how deleted it-i was so upset , i fell ill as i just couldn,t cope with the pressure. I left tafe 3-or 4 times during the year- due to pressure on the home front-i was just so determined to get through the year i'd go back -only to have to catch up on weeks of work and have no idea what the present clases were about as every one had moved forward. 6. Learn to access the library-i presume you know how to access the computer-it is a huge benefit. 7 if you can learn to meditate as it helps to relieve tension and the breathing helps the memory 8. Eat a healthy , balanced diet and drink lots of water-if you smoke----quit now before the tensions build up-smoking deludes you, you think it is helping you cope but it is not-it is starving your brain from oxygen-plus the cost will keep you poor and you won't eat as well so the body and brain won't function as well-ginko is reported to help memory and i believe it works-drink it as a tea or take tabs-i prefer tea-cammomile if you are nervous before exams or need to sleep 9 If you wear glasses-make sure you get a good pair and have a spare set in your study bag incase you forget them-label everything you take to classes with name , school class an d ph no if necessary -to avoid loosing valuable items and costing you time 9 enjoy your journey -cherrish your experiences as they will mold you into a better person- 10 GOOD LUCK, your memory due to oxygen flow 88 8to ___ Boardwalk for $500? Guest guest
Hi Megan, I'm sure you've gotten some great feedback by now. I wanted to chime in on flower and gem essences to support you. Please, don't underestimate the power of these remedies, especially for emotional and spiritual support. Two of my faves are Bach's Walnut (for times of transition) and Larch (for confidence). I might suggest you look at all 32 remedies and choose up to 5 that fit you and your specific needs. The link below will take you to a page on the web site where the remedies are described. They are available in most health food stores. http://www.bachcentre.com/centre/remedies.htm Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com
