Guest guest
Hi, I started having a trigger finger a few years ago, I thought it was from an earlier injury when I hyper-extended my finger while playing volleyball. I went to the doctor and had a cortisone shot, it relieved it somewhat, but not permanently. I have read that continual cortisone shots are not good for the body. The doctor then told me he could perform an operation to scrape the offending tendon to slide more easily in my finger. I considered doing that, but decided against it, my trigger finger was a nuisance, but not a life changing problem. Now I am 75 and many of my fingers on both hand have this problem to various degrees.. Also, I am getting arthritis in my finger joints, hip and elbow. I think these all are related to the aging process and ,maybe, family related as many of my dad's family had arthritis problems.. I have read extensively and i dont find that any doctors have a handle on this problem, I have taken over the counter pills glucosomine, etc., but nothing seems to work, although there seems to be some relief possibly. I wear arthritis gloves at night to prevent by fingers from aching while i sleep, seems to help some. My latest atttempt at a cure is using the godzilla, which has been talked about a lot in this forum. I made the device and have been using it everyday for about two weeks now twice a day on my trouble spots. so, far it hasnt seemed to help very much, although i think there is some pain relief. Having said all this, I will continue to update this forum with any new results as I get them. Wish you luck. ~Andy rmodavera <vromoda1076 wrote: Hi everybody, I need some help and explanation here Doctor told me that I have a tiger finger...
