Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this group. I thought I would join to see if someone has a problem similar to mine. I have lived with back pain for the past 17 years. The only thing doctors have given me is pain pills. Injections into the spine have not helped. Over the years, my body continues to get weaker and weaker. I try to stay on an exercise program but I can't handle much without over exhausting myself. I'm 67 years old. I'm glad you're here and I will keep reading your posts. Barbara Johnson
Guest guest
Hi Barbara, I hope this email finds you in the best of days. Sorry to hear about your back. I would suggest doing yoga, specifically hatha yoga (i'm doing it) as its done in a gentle, strain-less method targeting all muscles everywhere slowly. Also, on top of that, I would suggest Energy Healing. E.g. Reiki, Sekhem, Crystal Healing, EFT, The Reconnection. I've had very good results with The Reconnection (www.thereconnection.com) and very basic level EFT ( www.emofree.com) which showed some potential. Suggestion from personal experience: Start with a 2-3 sessions of Energy Healing while starting Yoga. Energy Healing will move slightly faster while you use yoga to maintain and slowly strengthen. All the Best. Cheers, RoK On 7/27/07, Barbara Johnson <barbara wrote: > > Hi, > I'm new to this group. I thought I would join to see if someone has > a problem similar to mine. You should be able to resolve that by using an holistic Osteopath or Chiropractor. If that is too expensive I could send you, or anybody, an excercise sheet to do the job for you; it takes longer but it will get you there and also teaches you how to stop it happening again. What ever you do start traeting the cause not the symptom. Just email me and ask donmoody Kind regards, Don Moody. nasalb0ne.
Guest guest
HI Barbara, I've had back pain for many years until a few months ago when I read a book called " Healing Back Pain " by John Sarno MD. It discusses how when we don't express our negative emotions, anger, fear, it is translated into back pain. He gives ways to relieve your back pain withing two weeks with out surgery, chiropractors etc... You heal yourself. After reading his book and following his guidelines I have drastically reduced my back and body pain. Hope this helps Devon , " Donald Moody " <donmoody wrote: > > , Barbara Johnson > <barbara@> wrote: > > > > Hi, > > I'm new to this group. Guest guest
My husband and I had horrible back pains for years... We changed our diet. No nightshade vegetables and no meat; uric acid in meat supposedly is a big problem for the bones... We feel much better... I am in a rush right now, but if you have any questions, please let me know... Ingrid > --- Barbara Johnson <barbara > wrote: > > > Hi, > > I'm new to this group. Guest guest
I forgot to mention the zapper we are using; it helps very much. Until now, we had a cheaper zapper, but now my daughter bought us the so-called skenar and that takes care of most of our pains (back, arthritis, headache, even inflamed gums, etc). We also exercise, especially yoga, walk and try to swim as much as possible. Maybe that helps... Guest guest
Hello Barbara, I am a Massage therapist and I have been asking my clients to stretch in between sessions- one of them finally did it consistently and her back pain went away for the first time in 15 years. Faciliated stretching is the best- find a partner and if not - resistance stretching is awesome. Zen exercise with using your mind doing facilitated stretching is a totally unique and cool way to do it on your own. The body needs exercise, but stretching is critical for pain that is already there.....getting bodywork helps put the body back in place after it has been out of alignment for 17 years. I recommend finding a massage therapist that does stretching incorporated into their massage. I wish you well and send you peace, Pat pSenergy Massage, LLC , Ingrid <molokai_duo wrote: > > I forgot to mention the zapper we are using; it helps > very much. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who responded to my email. It helped me to get reinvigorated. It's so easy to fall into depression. I've just started to see a chiropractor and tomorrow I start my first session with Yoga, called " yoga therapeutics " . I was told the teacher is not only proficient in yoga but she also suffered from back pain and is a physical therapist. I'm looking forward to meeting her. I've also went to Amazon and ordered a book on stretching and one on eating well. I will let you know if any of it or all of it helps. Thanks again for all your suggestions. BTW, what is a zapper.? Guest guest
I wanted to send you a web page to find out, what the skenar (scenar) and the zappers are, but there are quite a few... My daughter bought one for about 2,500$... but now I saw far cheaper ones... The one I used to have--the zapper (for about 200$)-- is recommended by Dr. Hulda Clark (in her book " Cure for All Diseases), whom you also can find through web search. She also explains, how to make your own zapper (for about 10$)... I have to say, though, that the skenar is much more effective. I hope that helps. Guest guest
Have you tried EFT? (Emotional Freedom Technique). There's a cool video at http://www.emofree.com that might make you feel more hopeful. Sounds like you're on a good path, but this would be a great addition. Guest guest
here are two websites about zappers and skenars: http://www.biowaves.com/Articles/Zappers.php http://www.scenar.info/scenar-devices.html If you search for zappers and skenars, you find more information... I can only say that I am very grateful to my daughter to get the skenar for us... (and now I see that they are not as expensive as mine was) it truly takes care of all my pains, but--of course-- diet and exercise help...
