Vaccinating young girls for HPV

Follow your heart and do NOT let her have those vaccines! The long term

risks from the vaccine are NOT worth that risk.

I'm on numerous other lists related to vaccine information and I have yet to

hear anything positive said about this HPV vaccine. The over-whelming

consensus is that these young girls who have the vaccine will end up having

a life-time of other health issues, including sterility.

There is no better immunity than a natural immunity, not man-made immunity

and all your daughter needs to do is follow safe-sex principles.

I teach this in Health and present facts unpersuasively. Now it is

time to make decisions for my own 15 1/2 year old. In my heart I do

not want her to have these 3 vaccines.

Dear Linda you wrote: Whatever happened to internalized morals, and

abstainence? Now I must do the job of Mothering my child (and being a Health

teacher,

too) and use all my knowledge and beliefs that collide with my daughter's 24

year old unmarried Health teacher's viewpoints.

As I left the Pediatrician's office this morning, I told her no decisions

would be made until I researched CAM and then sat down to have a heart to heart

talk with my child.

Any knowlwdge out there on this topic? In appreciation, and in loving

kindness,

Dear Linda:

It's important to have an honest communication model with your daughter

first. My daughter is 15 and has always come to me to tell me about her daily

highs

and lows. I've had to learn to listen to her and how she is feeling and to

justify her feelings as I ask further questions about each situation.

I was fortunate to have read John Gray's Venus and Mars on a Date, shortly

after my divorce. His insight into human emotional stability hinging on the

level of commitment specific to the level of intimacy really opened my eyes. To

sum it up in a nut shell, he says while dating, stay above the neck. He states

the man needs to ask for exclusivity at which point intimacy stays above the

waist. He says the man also needs to ask for a commitment, as in marriage at

which point intimacy can go below the waist, but that intercourse doesn't

happen.

He states intercourse is saved for once the marriage has been performed. He

states that if a woman doesn't stick to this system, she will not be getting

the emotional support in the form of a commitment from the man that she needs in

order to remain emotionally stable. It's a good idea to read the entire book,

as it gives research and reasons for his statements.

I had been raised to abstain with no emotional coping being taught. Once I

" lost " my innocence, I didn't have the skills or education needed to understand

my emotional needs and how to gage them against commitment and intimacy. I

also didn't have an honest communication model with my mother. I had caught her

in lies and she was incapable of justifying my emotions. I learned much later

in life that my defense mechanism was to emotionally block. A person who

emotionally blocks cannot access those internalized morals. Abstinence needs an

emotional understanding, not denial or coping systems.

It's funny, the commericals for this, the whole " One Less " BS, is what turned me

off to it.....all the " Gardisil does not protect against all strains of cervical

cancer " and disclaimer stuff they had to put in was hilarious....they basically

talked people out of getting it....at least, the thinking people.

Linda, I feel for you! My daughter is 14, and I wrestled with the same

question. In this upcoming school year, the public schools will be sending

home information with the kids about it, and I'm certain it will make it

sound like a great idea.

I know in my heart that this vaccine is a bad idea. But I couldn't stomach

the thought of " What if " my daughter was the one to get cervical cancer

because I made this decision.

Here was the deciding factor for me. The HPV vaccines were not approved

based on their effectiveness in preventing cancer. Surprised? Read this

article: http://www.cancermonthly.com/iNP/view.asp?ID=169

Here is a snippet:

" How effective is Gardasil in decreasing the incidence of cervical cancer?

100%? 50%? No one really knows because this question has not yet been

answered. As of today, the Gardasil vaccine has never been proven to

decrease the actual incidence of cervical cancer. In the studies that led to

the vaccine's approval, the incidence of cervical cancer was not measured.

Instead CIN (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) 2/3 and AIS (adenocarcinoma

in situ) were used as the surrogate markers for prevention of cervical

cancer because according to the vaccine's insert " CIN 2/3 and AIS are the

immediate and necessary precursors of squamous cell carcinoma and

adenocarcinoma of the cervix, respectively. " While this is true it is also

true that CIN 2/3 and AIS usually do not lead to cancer. For example,

according to published data, CIN2 only leads to invasive carcinoma 5% of the

time and CIN3 only leads to invasive carcinoma 12% of the time. "

Hope this helps point you in a direction you feel comfortable with.

Ok, I'm going to be completely open among friends. I lost my uterus

due to HPV. I had been monogamous for 20+ years, with intermittent

abnormal paps that would be normal at the follow up visit. HPV was

never raised as a possibility, nor would I have considered myself to

be likely to have it. Then after about 5 years, one day the doctor

said, " you have funky cells " and although there are other

treatments, if you were my wife I'd have it taken out without any

question. This entry is not to debate the question of alternatives.

Luckily I was finished having children. The hormone regulation

following surgically induced menopause is challenging.

Now, my daughter, age 22 is expecting her second child. She has had

sex with 2 men in her life and is diagnosed with HPV. Apparently she

received this gift from her husband. These are upstanding, working,

ethical, christians, but obviously a mistake was made somewhere. I

am grateful that she will have already had two children before

potentially facing a hysterectomy herself. And hate the thought of

her having to deal with hormone issues at such a potentially young

age.

Would I get the vaccine for my daughter if she were a teen today? I

don't know for sure, but if she has to go through what I think she

might, I will look back and say 'of course'. You see, I don't know

if the issue is simply cancer; it may include our ability to

reproduce. Or maybe not having it will be an effective way to curb

population growth. There is a lot to look at here, safety vs efficay

in the big picture.

Re: Vaccinating young girls for HPV

All this discussion of HPV and vaccinating the entire 12-13 yr.

old population of the USA makes no sense.

Based on the track record of vaccinations for the past 50 years

and the lies and cover-ups... I wouldn't trust them.

The AMA and drug companies are pushing vaccines because they do not

know how to treat HPV or how to cure it in children or adults.

It is a virus and not so hard to cure.

For example:

1) From Hanna Kroeger try -

P.A. Kit #703

at http://www.southernherb.com/

Hanna designed this kit to support the body against viral infections

and help maintain healthy reproductive organs*.

Ingredients: Kit contains: Pap Herbal Capsules, and Papilloma

Vibropathic Liquid

2)Col. Silver, Miracle II neutralizer, Essiac, Km, H12,

Sweedish Bitters can all be used internally and as a dousch.

3) Rife type frequency generators, MWO's, Vibe and Pearl

machines, and others will cure this.

4)Several teas such as kidney tea and mushroom tea, reishi and

kombuko, should cure this.

5)Try a silver pulser from sotainstruments.com or

make one for under $10. See: grp. called microelectricitygermkiller

6)Viruses die if you change their environment. 1.5-2. degrees is

all it takes. Or change the Ph. of the body as with veg. juices.

7)Laying on of hands, Reiki, Healing symbols, Shamballa

Healing, etc. all work when done correctly.

8) White gold water, m-state metals and ORMUS can all be used for

healing

9) Energy Cleaner or Harmonizer See:http://www.energycleaner.org/

or make one yourself for under $10.

See:http://www.keelynet.com/biology/crock.htm

10) O3 (ozone) in water or a sauna or wrap

11) Aloe vera juice, IV/C and H2o2 all kill viruses.

The list just goes on.

Don't listen to doctors who do not know how to cure disease.

Put aside your doubts, negativities and fears and take charge of

your lives and those of your children. Every great master on this

planet for 1000's of years knew about healing. All this is available

to us today. Learn to care for and to heal ourselves first.

Namaste,

David

Once again the pharmaceutical industry has come up with a new pill...isn't it

sad how fast these pills appear for symptoms instead of trying to find the

cause, look at

the whole body balance and be rid of it....these companies get richer by the

nano second, and it is at the expense of every sentient being that inhabit this

planet....please, before you give this to your daughters....research, talk, have

them checked by someone who practices eastern, holistic, ayurveda..etc.

medicine....i see ads for this, how to have periods 4 times a year, synthetic

hormones...the food we eat, air we breathe, the tension and stress we allow

ourselves to get caught up in, the state of the world...all this has an effect

on all the systems in our body......one step towards stopping the insanity is

all it takes

peace, blessings

we all know the reasons to get the cervical cancer vaccine... what

are the reasons NOT to get it, apart from the usual post-vaccination

side effects? i mean, what harm will the vaccine cause if say, i, get

it?

Just an FYI to Angelwings44 make sure if you have your daughter vaccinated to do

it after the baby is born...you can't get the vaccination while

pregnant...hopefully your doctors are aware of that ☺

Tara

PS I feel as long as you are in a monogomious relationship and/or using

protection you shouldn't put your body though the vaccine...It hasn't been on

the market long enough to know the true harms of the vaccine. Just my thoughts.

Re: Vaccinating young girls for HPV

we all know the reasons to get the cervical cancer vaccine... what

are the reasons NOT to get it, apart from the usual post-vaccination

side effects? i mean, what harm will the vaccine cause if say, i, get

it?

She had the test for HPV and it came back with the HPV 6. They said

to me I should think about getting her vaccinaed. I am not sure what

to do with this either. Thank God when they did the other test that

came back negtive for cervical cancer. I have sat down with my

daughter and had a long talk with her before she started dating this

guy and it just goes in one ear and out the other.

HI, I know how you guys feel. My 17 year old daughter who is

preagent now and she only was with her boyfriend he was her frist.

It's funny, the commericals for this, the whole " One Less " BS, is

what turned me off to it.....all the " Gardisil does not protect

against all strains of cervical cancer "

Lori

Linda, I feel for you! My daughter is 14, and I wrestled with the

same question. In this upcoming school year, the public schools will

be sending home information with the kids about it, and I'm certain

it will make it sound like a great idea.I know in my heart that this

vaccine is a bad idea. But I couldn't stomach thought of " What if " my

daughter was the one to get cervical cancer because I made this

decision. Here was the deciding factor for me. The HPV vaccines were

not approved based on their effectiveness in preventing cancer.

Surprised? Read this article:

http://www.cancermonthly.com/iNP/view.asp?ID=169

Here is a snippet:

" How effective is Gardasil in decreasing the incidence of cervical

cancer? 100%? 50%? No one really knows "

Shana Clagg

Dear Born of Beltrane,

I appreciate your question " What harm will it cause? " I don't

believe there is enough research on this vaccine. There was a study

done have been reading all the entries on my questions regarding

vaccinations of young girls to prevent HPV which could lead to

cervical cancer according to the research provided. THANK YOU

everyone for writing in. My heart goes out to Lisa concerning her 17

year old daughter, and to Linda for her plight with surgery and

HRT.

I was researching links and found this site:

http://www.rdoc.org.uk/hpv.html

It is from the mouth cancer foundation. If you scroll down to The

Silent Threat, and the other links below it, and we all read this,

can we have a further conversation on this serious topic?

<snippet>

The human papillomavirus, HPV, is the virus which causes genital

warts and can lead to cervical and oral cancers. Researchers are

developing a new HPV-DNA test which may allow doctors to more

definitely determine patients' risk of cervical cancer. Also, a

vaccine for the pre-cancerous strains of the virus is in progress.

However, *****some controversy and questions revolve around both the

new test and vaccine*****

Even before I make any decisions regarding the vaccine...WHICH I AM

NOT HEARTFELT on doing for my daughter who will be 16 on August 11th,

I am spending absolute quality time with my daughter this week...she

is not allowed to go to any parties, sleep-overs, etc. We have

dedicated this week to JUST THE TWO OF US, and she is slowly

beginning to appreciate MY need to bond with her one on one, and she

is now accepting the fact that she is being asked to GROUND herself

at home <LOL> with her Mother in order to work at creating a more

intimate and loving bond with me. This summer has seen my daughter

non-stop going out with her friends, sleep-overs, dates, modeling

calls, and we even got to spend the morning with Josh Groban in

person one on one, last Monday. Our time together has been severely

disrupted with outsiders, phone calls, dates, and teenagers coming

over. The book, " Mars and Venus on a Date " by John Gray, Ph.D.

arrived yesterday. I told my daughter, this is one of the best gifts

your Mother will ever give to you. Knowledge. " Thank you so much,

Rachael, for suggesting this book that only cost .19 cents plus

postage but offers priceless boundaries and guidelines for dating,

relationships, and a lasting love with the RIGHT person.

My daughter has been attracted to 3 men in her life. The first boy in

school she liked was Bryan. They were highly attracted to one another

and then he told her (at age 16) that he was sure he was gay. They

are still best friends now that he practices homosexuality. The

second boy lived in a group home (he was spared jail) because he

tried to strangle his mother and he did drugs, stole, and belonged to

a gang. He joined a church for a year, became extremely religious,

and asked my daughter to attend Church with him. Two weeks ago, Erik

has gone AWOL, and the police are searching for him. SHe met him in a

secret location last week. I picked him up at a train station, and

they got to see one another for 3 hours by my yacht club. My daughter

told him that she had waited two weeks for him to call, and found

another boy to date, Alex. I drove Erik back to the train station

and he broke it off with her, completely, crying that he couldn't

believe she could dump him and find someone else in two weeks. My

daughter cried for 4 hours and then asked me to drive her to meet

Alex. Alex told her, " I am an A* hole hanging with the wrong crowd,

but I am trying to do the right things, now. " Alex's Father is from

Jamaica, and his Mother from China, and their family values are

completely alien to ours.

What is MY DAUGHTER DOING? I have taught her the difference between

judgment (which she says she never does) and discernment, and to date

only those whom she feels intuitively connected to in a mentally, and

emotionally safe place before ever allowing a boy to connect to her

on a physical level such as holding hands and kissing, because once

that begins, it will be harder to focus on the normal challenges of

stimulating each other mentally and emotionally.

Am I talking in one ear and out the other, too? She is in the

National Honor Society, and very responsible, but today we have to re-

walk the Botanical Gardens at the university to search for her lost

eyeglasses, and go to the Motor Vehicles to get a replacement

Non_Driver's I.D. that she lost on youth group trip to Wildwood, New

Jersey for a week, and we need to have the new digital camera cleaned

and serviced becaus she brought it to the beach and friends kicked

sand inside her beach bag. I pray she doesn't lose her innocence as

quickly as she can lose and break her valuable possessions.

As I end this email, the Garvisil commercial is playing on ABC t.v.

They are saying, " I want to be one less....ask your doctor to

vaccinate your child for their school physical examination. "

How can a Mother and Daughter work together to overcome such powerful

messages? It causes me to think WHAT MONEY MONGER SOURCE IS BEHIND

THIS CAMAPIGN>

Before I end, I want to suggest that everyone read the article

regarding a hoax concerning Tamiflu and how one politician made

millions by exaggerating the dangers of avian flu in this country, and

how he pocketed millions because of it. Scary article that warrants a

look.

http://www.mercola.com/2006/apr/4/donald_rumsfeld_rakes_in_5_million_f

or_tamiflu.htm

Could this be the same deal with Garvisil?

in loving kindenss,

Linda and others,

I am seeking as much knowledge on this topic as well. For the entire

community, I'm seeking guidance on how to stay best informed on the

results of these vaccines over the coming years. I have a 4 year old

daughter and will be faced with this decision as well. I know

abstinence will be the best prevention, but I may have to recommend

for her to receive this vaccine in some years. Which medical

resources might provide the best source of information of problems

arising from this vaccine?

Any recommendation are appreciated.
