What type of shoes does he wear...the number one cause of " foot-pain "

is " incorrectly fitting shoes; usu. being too small or narrow at toe. " -

Tonda,

Sounds like he has plantar-faceaitis. It's terrible. I'm so sorry for him. I had that once on both feet at the same time. I took horsetail tea (also known as shavegrass). Try to have him take close to a gallon of that a day. Also, get fresh pineapple and bromalaine tablets from the health food store. The pineapple enzyme, bromalaine helps get rid (not scientific language here) of the cyrstaly/gristly part that develop and the horsetail is a natural anti-inflamatory.

I'm sorry, I know that sounded so terrible. But it's what I did and it worked great. I looked up things for inflamation and feet and came up with pineapple and horsetail. Please excuse the way that came out.

Also, stretching the bottom of the foot will help. Have your husband put his heel on the floor and the toes on the wall. That will stretch the plantar surface. Then a bit of massage and then a bit of ice, to cool the tendons.

In the shoe dept like at wal-mart look for things that fit in the shoes such as arch supports and such...I cracked my heel a few years back and I'm talking pain at times, I get a heel support that helps me cause it cushions it...usually under the name of Dr shoels....brendashortcakelovespoppy <shortcakelovespoppy wrote: My husban has realy bad foot pain, he works 12 hours on concret floors they hurt so bad that he wears 2 pairs of socks and they still hurt what can he do or take for this? lots of

hi, i'm sorry to hear about your husband's foot pain. has he ever tried birkenstocks - if he can't wear the clogs or shoes, you might try the birkenstock insoles. my father always wore red wing shoes - i think that they are made for people who are on their feet a lot in difficult situations (warehouses, construction, etc.) for comfort, ask your husband to soak his feet in epsom salt or lavender oil. after the soak, massage with a good essential oil. enjoy this day He has made, gloria

Hi all,

I've had this pain in my right foot for some time, it is in the center

at the base of the ball of my foot. It almost feels like there is

something stuck in it. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what it

could be and if it was linked to any particular reflexology point.

Thanks for listening.

Hi. I have had foot problems for sometime sounds like it may be an nuroma.

This is a small tumor on the nerve. Feels like you are walking on a pebble or

something. Makes you want to rub your foot all the time. I would make an

appointment at the podiatrist. They say it is from wearing tight shoes and

sometimes the nerve gets pinched. Its correctable, My feet hurt somedays so

bad I can not get out of bed. They say mine is from a bad disc in my back.

All I know is when your feet hurt , it makes for a miserable day. Good luck

let us know what happens.

Hi agoodbody,

Sounds like you have upset a base of the toe joint. Get someone to

gently pull each toe and you will be able to tell them which toe it

is that needs adjusting.

Then have them to use a damp flannel, single layer, around the

offending toe ,and just pull on it, in a straight line,(don't bend

the toe)until they feel a soft click. The pull needs to start gently

and then be increased in pressure until the click comes. If any pain

starts before the click comes, stop imediately, wait a few days and

try again. If it's painfull to start with,go and get it xrayed.

Regards, Don Moody. nasalbone.

Sounds like it could be a bone spur. I have one and when it got

irritated it inflamed the tissue around the area. Its called plantar

faciatis. Spelling may be wrong there. I had to have two cortisone

shots and a lot of physical therapy but its all healed.
