When living with a smoker (which I would never do) ionic air cleaners

get clogged. One needs to have they type of air cleaner which

allows to to change the ion emitters. Changable or cleanable filters

also helps.

I recently sold my Ionic Breezes - Consumer Reports Magazine did a good article

2 months ago on the efficacy of these air " purifiers. " I had them about a year

and noticed an increase in my allergies and upper respiratory problems.

Consumer Reports claims that the ionic effect can actually make your health

worse, which it seemed to do in my case. They sold in a day after I put them in

the paper because they are advertised as being so outstanding, but in fact, I

think they are not good at all. This is just my experience but you may want to

go to the library and check out the last few issues of Consumer Reports who did

an excellent job evaluating these machines.

chest uncomfortable, almost like it is congested. I didn't notice this

until recently. Barb
