Guest guest
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,16863086-2,00.html ROMANIA began to administer anti-flu vaccines to thousands of people amid fears that the avian flu detected on Friday may be the deadly strain that has killed over 60 in southeast Asia. Health authorities said that based on preliminary tests they feared that three ducks in the southeastern Tulcea region had been infected with the H5N1 strain transmissible to humans. In the above article it is mentioned that roughly 3000 people in Romania will have received a flu jab by this weekend, after finding 3 ducks with the H5N1. Is this an en masse trial for the vaccine? What vaccine are they using/trying out? Who would be monitoring the outcome of the effects of this vaccine? Just curious, and cynical of course Hannah
