Guest guest
http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/la-me-eliza24sep24,0,4062292.story?page\ =5 & track=hpmostemailedlink Did anyone see this sensationalistic story on the death of noted AIDS activist Christine Maggiore's daughter Elizabeth? The coroner said it was from AIDS-related pneumonia, but that seems questionable judging from the girl's symptoms. I find it very interesting that this story came out the week that the generic form of AZT got the green light from the FDA (http://aids-clinical-care.jwatch.org/cgi/content/full/2005/928/2). The daughter died months ago. So far, Christine's husband and son have tested negative for HIV. There's some good commentary on the story at: http://liam.gnn.tv/blogs/9251/Anti_AZT_Activist_s_Child_Dies including a statement from the family.
