Global warming is one of the most pressing concerns facing the world today. Burning of fossil fuels supplied by your company are already causing climate change - increasing severe weather events, rising sea levels, and adversely impacting agriculture and natural vegetation.ExxonMobil, under your leadership, has done more than any other company to derail global warming solutions. Your company's sabotage of the Kyoto Protocol negotiations has been both underhanded and irresponsible. Your funding of junk science which denies the existence of global warming is dangerous and self-serving. Further, I am concerned with your paltry investments in renewable energy, your failure to meet your obligations to the victims of your 1989 Alaskan oil spill, and your support for opening America's and the World's last great wildernesses to oil drilling. The problem of global warming must be addressed and ExxonMobil is in the position to lead the way. Please stop sabotaging international efforts to address global warming and make major investments in renewable energy - transforming ExxonMobil into a new energy company that is leading the way to a clean energy future. Sadly, ExxonMobil currently represents yesterday's deadly energy policies. Until such time as you reform yourself, I will not purchase ExxonMobil's gas or products, invest in ExxonMobil stock, or work for the company. And I will encourage my friends and relatives to do so as well. ExxonMobil will stop destroying the Earth or you will go out of business, with the blood of the Earth on your hands. This boycott will affect your bottom line. With Concern,Mary Rileymk2967 States of Americacc:Key Exxon Mobil Senior Management and Board of Directors " When the power of love becomes stronger than the love of power, we will have peace.
