UPDATE: Flocco's story re: " Barbara Olson's Arrest "

 

 

One has to exercise real care here: an Italian friend wrote me to say

there is no " Polish Austrian " border, though I read a buzz from many

bloggers going on about this story at Pravda.ru that confirms what I

saw when I scrutinized a map of that area: Austria borders eight

countries, including Germany, which borders Poland around the bend and

up north, of the small parcel of land that was overlooked: Czech

Republic, of course: so it's an easy one to miss; it raised a hackle

at the time, as something seemed wrong, but I found out later why when

I brought up the map: Austria is a few hours drive separated from

Poland by the Czech Republic, though Germany borders it: so when I

" vetted " the story I remembered the Germans invaded Poland, Austria is

right on top of it, so I rushed to get this item out on the cables. I

trusted it as probably true. Right? Oh well. It's not hard to be

impatient with a story like this, covered in " breaking news " and

flashing lights. Someone else at a chat group was also suggesting

that Italian liras are no longer in circulation, but that would

certainly be one reason Olson has so many! I haven't been in Europe

in a few years, but I recall they would always take older currency,

then, and exchange it, if it was dated, and I suspect that might be

the case here. One thing that was stuck in my mind, as I awoke from a

nap: " forged Vatican passport. " Seemed the oddest detail of all.

Could happen. It would be interesting to know exactly someone's

motivation behind forging a Vatican passport, but stranger things have

happened.

 

Anyway, the gist of this update: I am the least among many who

continue to think Barbara Olson's in the land of the living, after a

fashion, but exactly how much of this story pans out is anybody's

guess. What is the most annoying fact of all is that: even if much or

most turns out to be true, will we ever hear about any of it from

" official " sources, unless we were to see a complete head over heels

change of the " government " ? Would Media report that?

 

We can still hope, on both counts. When we consider how challenged

our " alternative news " movement is in that respect, we still fancy

that it's the MSM that needs first and foremost to account for itself,

not us. After all, I really started doing this, in more and more

earnest, mostly, because they don't. Would be nice if they began.......JE
