Guest guest
Yes, it responds remarkably well to very large doses of C, B-complex and Gerson therapy. Guest guest
Thanks. The Gerson Therapy would be too much to handle for me but B and C are easy to give. Are injections of C essential or oral ascorbic acid will do? Guest guest
I am no medical expert, but here is a rule of thumb I might use in a similar situation. Use buffered C, or a mix of buffered C with acorbic acid. Large quantities of ascorbic acid are rough on teeth & gut. Use powdered C. In large qiantity, the fillers & added crap in tablets can get huge. Take a gram of C every hour until stool gets runny. Then back off a bit, but keep taking to bowel tolerance. If no runny stool at the end of day 1, take a gram every half hour on day two. Keep increasing C until you get runny stool. Now, if you find yourself needing 100 grams of C per day (or more) to get runny stool, then I would suspect (remember, I am o doctor or expert, this is just my perspective here) IV C would do you better. But even if no IV C is possible, the oral C will do some good, even in large quantity. Close to 30 years ago, I remember reading about a doc who treated the ski patrol out in Colorado ski resort country. He was able to put ski patrol people *back to work* doing hard physical excercise in the cold doing rescue work on skis -- in less than 2 weeks after getting Mono or Hepatitis. Some of his patients were taking half a pound of C (that's over 200,000 mg) a day! Alobar On 9/22/05, psych doc <psych_58 wrote: > Thanks.
