The proposed law will make it too easy to detain people, even if they have relatively light mental problems, BBC reports in this article. Meanwhile, prescriptions of methylphenidate, also known as Ritalin, have increased 180-fold since 1991, from 2000 to more than 350.000 prescriptions, as reported by The Telegraph.
