Bush and the Cross

 

 

 

 

Surely, the White House could pick any location they wanted for last

night's

speech. But of course they picked a church.

 

Surely, they could have Bush stand anywhere in front of the church.

But with a

cross on a steeple, it looked as if it was right above Bush's nimble head.

 

The message was clear; and I found it arrogant, sanctimonious and

offensive.

They went out of their way to position him, just so, so they can grab

their

crackpot base and bring them back to the fold, just to get his poll

numbers

back up to 45.

 

This White House can not put religion down for one second.

 

I said it before and I'll say it again. This White House is getting

scarry.
