Is it just me or does this prove beyond any question that this fool and

his ilk (and all the neocons, for that matter) have completely lost it?

 

IF, and it's a big if, there was a message from God in the disaster

caused by His Act, Hurrican Katrina, I would think that the message was

obvious. This is nature's way (or God's way) of telling George W. Bush

and the United States, " Enough. "

 

Enough gouging the least able to fend for themselves, enough gutting

the infrastructure of those who used to be able to (the middle class),

enough environmental exploitation and destruction, enough corporate

supremacy, enough dessication of governmental services, enough military

aggression - it's time to STOP.

 

It is long past time for these self-aggrandized purveyors of their own

grand value and supreme knowledge, wisdom and power that they are NOT

what they think, claim, appear or wish to be. They are human, and

they'd better start caring about their fellow humans or suffer worse

yet.

 

That's the message.

 

Not one woman's sexual proclivities no matter how public. I didn't see

Rosie O'Donnell's home town get wrecked, nor anything devastating that

adopted home of Rosie and Ellen - Hollywood. If Hollywood is such a

depraved and sinful place, why is the Gulf Coast taking the hit for it?

 

AND, if these self-righteous and puffed-up blowhards are even the

slightest bit as holy as their holier-than-thou attitude projects,

where is THEIR MONEY in the contributions to mitigate the disaster? Do

you see Exxon-Mobil donating one penny of their $2.5+ BILLION profits

from the last quarter to the relief effort? It's news to me if they

did.

 

(What I did see, though, is that they've been complaining about not

knowing where to invest all that profit. I can give them a few

suggestions....)

 

Actually, I think the real message is: it's time to start taxing the

rich again. It's time to apply the eye of the needle here on earth.

 

 

 

 

 

 

( I believe that if God were to ever interject himself into the affairs of man,

is that he probably would send a few thunderbolts into the asses of all of these

fake, hypocritical, psuedo religious holy types like Robertson, Falwell and Bush

as they are all in one way or another using religion to fleece the flock.)

ROBERTSON BLAMES HURRICANE ON CHOICE OF ELLEN DEGENERES TO HOST EMMYS

Hollywood – Pat Robertson on Sunday said that Hurricane Katrina was

God's way of expressing its anger at the Academy of Television Arts and

Sciences for its selection of Ellen Degeneres to host this year's Emmy

Awards.

 

" By choosing an avowed lesbian for this national event, these Hollywood

elites have clearly invited God's wrath, "

 

Robertson said on " The 700 Club " on Sunday. " Is it any surprise that

the Almighty chose to strike at Miss Degeneres' hometown? "

 

Robertson also noted that the last time Degeneres hosted the Emmys, in

2001, the September 11 terrorism attacks took place shortly before the

ceremony.

 

" This is the second time in a row that God has invoked a disaster

shortly before lesbian Ellen Degeneres hosted the Emmy Awards, "

 

Robertson explained to his approximately one million viewers.

 

" America is waiting for her to apologize for the death and destruction

that her sexual deviance has brought onto this great nation. "

 

Robertson added that other tragedies of the past several years can be

linked to Degeneres' growing national prominence.

 

September, 2003, for example, is both the month that her talk show

debuted and when insurgents first gained a foothold in Iraq following

the successful March invasion.

 

 

 

" Now we know why things took a turn for the worse, " he explained.

 

In order to avoid further tragedy, Robertson called not only for the

Television Academy to find a new heterosexual host, but to bar all

homosexuals and bisexuals from taking part in the ceremony.

 

He said employees at the Christian Broadcasting Network had put

together a list of 283 nominees, presenters, and invited guests at the

Emmys known to be of sexually deviant persuasions.

 

" God already allows one awards show to promote the homosexual agenda, "

Robertson declared.

 

" But clearly He will not tolerate such sinful behavior to spread
