Do you want to feed mystery food to your family?

(How about labels printed in english to identify genetically modified

foods too)

 

 

Americans don't want to buy sneakers without knowing where they come

from - so why would we buy our food that way?

 

Yet in the face of a huge and growing number of consumers and family

farmers who have been fighting for years to require grocers to place

country-of-origin labels (COOL) on meats, fruits and vegetables sold

in the United States, Congress is considering delaying labeling for

meat for another year. It is also considering making COOL a

" voluntary " program for corporations. (Which in this Administration

and in the current corporate world we know means " not doing it. " )

 

Demand decent food in our stores, not mystery products from who knows

where! The vote is expected next week, so please contact your Senators

immediately to tell them that you deserve to know what you are eating!
