My mother has been going to a lady that is doing a homeopathic detox

on her called detoxosode. She is feeling much better but I had a

question as to what type of medicine this woman is practicing.

She will put her hand on a part of the body (lungs, pancreas, kidney,

under chin for calcuim, forehead, etc.)her helper will put his hand on

the patient's shoulder, they the helper and her will join hands. She

will then count numbers anywhere from 1.0 to above, usually in tenths.

From what " readings " she gets, she then suggests herbs, vitamins, etc.

to help.

What is this called? I have been reading on it and cannot seem to find

an answer.

Any help is appreciated!

This is not homeopathy. There is no remedy in the homeopathic materia

medica called detoxosode. And in homeopathy you study the symptoms

and not lay hands on the patients body.

This type of testing is done by a Kinesiologist.

Also for testing proper dosages of certain " Bach Flower " Remedies which are used

for depression and various mood swings, etc. etc. There is no charge for this.

The Bach flower remedy drops are added to a liter of pure spring water and are

sipped slowly throughout the day. It works very well, I might add!
