Herbs for stubborn Urinary tract infection

Hello,

 

My name is Maryanne, and I just joined this group. I have always

been interested in herbal remedies. I had hepatitis C sevral years

ago (confirmed by 2 different doctors) and took Milk Thistle which

cured it. Two different doctors who belong to two different

hospitals have now confirmed there is no trace of it in my blood.

 

I now have had chronic urinary tract infections. I have tried Uva-

Ursi, Corn Silk, Echinacea & Goldenseal which have not been

successful in wiping it out. Sometimes they help curb it but it

recurs. I've also briefly tried cranberry capsules.

 

It is pretty bad and I don't have medical insurance to determine

what is causing the recurances. I have many other medical problems

along with it but this is my most bothersome right now.

 

If you can make some suggestions, I can look the herbs up in my PDR

for Herbal Medicines and my German Commission E's book. Yes, I have

these nice books so you think I would look it up myself, well I have

but my mind is not cooperating with my reason and I'm a little

overwhelmed at this point. I'm looking for your thoughts and

suggestions on herbs too. Which herbs do you know to help strengthen

the Kidney's for instance??
