Howard Kaloogian and the Mass Murder Tour

Right-wing huckster and wanna-be state assemblyman in California,

Howard Kaloogian, has organized a scream down Cindy tour and is

currently tooling a caravan of like-minded " patriots " (actually

stepfordized warmongers) from northern California to Crawford, Texas,

where they plan to confront the handful of anti-war protestors who are

acting on their revulsion over Bush's mass murder campaign in Iraq.

" There is a similarity between the war in Iraq and Vietnam, and it's

in the way that protesters want America to lose! " Howard Kaloogian,

who is chairman of something dubbed Move America Forward (into

blood-lust and carnage), yelled to a crowd at the Serra Mesa

headquarters of Newsradio KOGO, where " conservative " radio talk-show

host Roger Hedgecock broadcasted his hate radio show live from an

outdoor booth.

 

 

 

Of course, " America " has already " lost " the " war " in Iraq. Short of

nuking the place or rounding up millions of Iraqis and throwing them

in concentration camps (as the Brits did to the Boerevolk in South

Africa), it really has no other choice but to " lose " the " war. "

 

 

 

From the news articles I read about the Mass Murder Tour, I didn't

encounter any suggestion on the part of Kaloogian about how exactly he

expects " America " to " win " (i.e., in this context, " America " is the

ruling elite who start such " wars, " or organized plunder and chaos,

and the brainwashed and entirely stepfordized legions of faceless

flag-waving Bush followers and the military families who should be

calling for their sons and daughters to come home and protect America,

not do the bidding of a criminal gaggle of neocons, neolibs, and

carpet-bagging multinational corporations -- but then Kaloogian is a

wanna-be neocon, unable to accept that the people of California

pitched him out of the California assembly years ago, probably because

he's a scary right-wing demagogue).

 

 

 

Naturally, the corporate media, all gung-ho for the

Straussian-Machiavellian generation or two " war " (as promised by

Cheney and others) against the people of the Middle East, has jumped

on the counter-Cindy bandwagon with an insatiable hunger to engage in

yet another spin-fest, complete with cosmeticated " anchor " bimbos and

mesmerizing computer graphics. Now the story is --

 

 

 

for couch potato Americans who formulate their centimeter deep

political opinions after digesting five minutes of Fox News, et al --

there is a backlash against Cindy Sheehan and the dangerous " leftists "

in her tow (it is so easy to categorize anybody who opposes this

monumental war crime as dippy-hippy " leftists " mired in the 60s,

thanks to the oafish stereotypes promulgated by the corporate media).

 

 

 

Unfortunately, Cindy Sheehan will not put an end to the continuing war

crimes of Bush and crew, so eagerly supported by a huckster like

Kaloogian (who wants to rule Californians) and Roger Hedgecock (who

has a radio show to sell). Bush will never leave Iraq and there is

nobody in Washington or out here in the hinterlands capable of making

him do so. Either the untenable occupation of Iraq will come to an end

on its own or Bush will escalate the violence (a possible bombing raid

on Iran is not out of the question) to the point the entire Middle

East erupts in flames. After that happens, of course, Cheney's

STRATCOM will start nuking everybody and everything in the wake of

" another 9/11-type terrorist attack on the United States, " as promised.

 

 

 

In the event of another such engineered " attack, " the kooky Kaloogians

will not simply settle for shouting down the Cindy Sheehans, they will

likely hunt them down and lynch them.
