Know Your Enemy

The day was March 22, 1930. It was like any normal morning - children

playing in the streets and fathers going to work - then something

happened. Around 10:15 Marion Gordon Robertson was born; the ground

shook, maidens screamed, and baby Jesus wept.

 

Pat lived a privileged childhood, his parents and ancestors were all

important people. He was related to two presidents, who sucked and

aren't worth noting, and Winston Churchill (the only good thing to

come out of that gene pool). Pat spent most of his adolescence at

McCallie School in Chatanooga, a milatary prep school. After this he

headed of to college and slacked off for a few years.

 

He shed his birth name, Marion, in favor of something that didn't

make him sound like a homosexual, something he would never want to be

confused with. So he chose something manly: Pat!

 

In 1948 he enlisted in the military, unfortunately sparing his life

from the horrors of WWII. He went to Korea and was involved in some

more completely inconsequential activities. His constant prayers did

quite a bit, or so he claims.

 

After getting out of the service he spent some more time in college

and earned 2 degrees. Then, in 1959, Pat packed up the family and

moved to Tidewater, Virginia. There, Pat raised the funds to purchase

a bankrupt TV station, thus creating the Christian Broadcast Network.

 

CBN has gone on to become one of the most watched Christian

television network in the world (there are 3). Since that sinister

day in 1960 Pat has been spewing his bigotry through the mouthpiece

of the 700 Club, a show watched by 1 million people everyday. That

number should scare the hell out of any decent human being.

 

Now, you may ask, what's so bad about this Pat fellow. He seems like

a nice enough guy. He's not. Pat Robertson is a disgusting disgrace

for a human. He's a bigot, a lier, and a self-righteous pig. Don't

take my work for it, here are a few things he's said:

 

" There is no such thing as separation of church and state in the

Constitution. It is a lie of the Left and we are not going to take it

anymore. "

 

" We have imagined ourselves invulnerable and have been consumed by

the pursuit of health, wealth, material pleasures and sexuality It

[terrorism] is happening because God Almighty is lifting his

protection from us. "

 

" We have a court that has essentially stuck its finger in God's eye.

We have insulted God at the highest levels of our government. Then,

we say, " Why does this happen? " It is happening because God Almighty

is lifting His protection from us. "

 

" This is God's power and he sent this thing to warn us we needed a

shock [9/11] "

 

" Individual Christians are the only ones really - and Jewish people,

those who trust God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - are the only ones

that are qualified to have the reign, because hopefully, they will be

governed by God and submit to Him. "

 

" You say you're supposed to be nice to the Episcopalians and the

Presbyterians and the Methodists and this, that, and the other thing.

Nonsense. I don't have to be nice to the spirit of the Antichrist. "

 

" The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about

a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to

leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft,

destroy capitalism, and become lesbians. "

 

" Many of those people involved with Adolph Hitler were Satanists,

many of them were homosexuals - the two things seem to go together. "

 

" I would warn Orlando that you're right in the way of some serious

hurricanes, and I don't think I'd be waving those flags [gay pride

flags] in God's face if I were you. "

 

That list of offensive, fallacious quotes could go on for miles. In

fact, Pat has written 15 books with essentially the same dribble for

content.
