Stop The U.S. Production of Landmines

I just wrote my senator to ask them to oppose U.S. landmine production. The U.S.

has not produced landmines for over seven years, but in 2004 President Bush

announced a new landmine policy that abandoned the objective of joining the 1997

Mine Ban Treaty. The Pentagon is also considering production of two types of

antipersonnel mines.
