Urge the FDA to improve access to the morning-after pill

Dear Friend,

The FDA has until September 1 to decide whether to allow the

morning-after pill to be sold without a prescription.

The morning-after pill represents a common-sense, common ground

way to prevent unintended pregnancy. However, the FDA has

already rejected the first application to make it available over

the counter, and it missed a January deadline to issue a

decision.

I hope you sign a petition to tell the FDA that Americans don't

appreciate anti-choice politics getting in the way of sound

science and women's access to birth control. Click on the link

below to learn more and take action. Thanks!

it doesn't prevent anything - it aborts a pregnancy, and from what I read has

plenty of

negative side effects on the mother.
