Joe Andrew, a former DNC Chairman, is now working for Diebold.

launched former Democratic National Committee chairman Joe Andrew

on a 50-state ambassadorship for electronic voting. "

 

Diebold needs California - which is why they've hired Andrews to

get it for them. " California, the nation's largest market for

voting machines and the place where Diebold's fortunes as the

largest supplier of -voting machines in the nation could be made

or broken "

 

It's pretty discouraging when someone who's supposed to be on our

side does something like this. Andrews has been " A prominent

corporate attorney " for the past twenty years, as well as DNC

chair before Terry McAuliffe. He is currently listed as an

advisor to the New Democratic Network, http://www.ndn.org/about/

, which is Simon Rosenbergs group. You may remember Simon ran

against Howard Dean for DNC chair earlier this year, and he is a

very progressive dem with solid grassroots credentials. So what's

Andrews up to??

ACTION:

 

Email or Call Mr.Andrews and ask him not to work for diebold.

This is a company that needs to " put its effort into making

better equipment and making its paper trail work, rather than a

PR campaign.'' Phone calls are most effective, & remember to be

polite but firm.
